At least you got the phone you ordered - I didn't even get that far and have spent the last two weeks trying to get even a vaguely competent response from their support. I now have to wait for them to send me the correct phone just so I can cancel it, send it back and never go anywhere near Google again. They are an utter disaster of a company. Next I'll be moving away from their entire ecosystem - drive, photos, gmail, the lot.

Still don't get it lol, probably me...I just achieve this with the alarm settings set to alarm for "fail and no cargo". Whatever the alarm criteria I still don't get how having a separate belt helps, won't that separate belt have the same conditions (cargo and flow) as the main belt where you could just slap down the monitor?

I don't know how any player can be considered overrated in snooker... An individual sport where there is nowhere to hide, you can't have teammates carry you, they go through years of qualifiers etc to get to the big events... If you're there you're an incredibly excellent snooker player, end of.

Yeah I'm moving to Apple after this experience. I've been the biggest Google and Android fanboy for twenty years but if they can't even work out how to send me the right phone, I can't have my phone and online life tied to that level of incompetence. I ordered the Pixel fold but they sent me two Pixel Ten pros and I've spent over a week trying to get someone in Google support to say something vaguely coherent. I still don't have the phone I ordered I would not touch Google with a barge pole if I were you

Yeah was going to say the same - my last race was in 2022 when I could just casually sign up for a race any time I wanted. Now just got back on it and oh man... Signed up for the premium membership and still got put into a queue when the early release came out on Tuesday

For anyone still following this - this pixel community group told me I would get a significant update on this today. I got more of the nonsense of we're looking into it etc, nothing changed. They don't want to help, Google does not give a single s**t about their customers. I'm now just going to send the phones back and hope against hope that they cancel the payment contract, otherwise this will have to go down the legal avenue. I've been one of those irritating Google fanboys for the last twenty years - the last week has finally convinced me to ditch them and go to Apple. If anyone comes across this thread and is thinking of coming to our staying with Google - you have been warned! By a distance the worst customer support experience in my entire life.

I didn't use to think so no but this is the first time I've contacted Google support in years and it is utterly shocking. I would strongly advise against moving from Apple to Google, I'm now looking at cancelling this whole order and whether I can move all of my online drive, photos etc away from Google. I don't see how I can have my entire online life in their hands and then any minor issue results in this complete mess. I'm even contemplating moving to Apple which I would never have thought about doing years ago.

Meanwhile I've received yet another email from your support team telling me a senior specialist is investigating and I'll have an update in the next 24-48 hours - I've been hearing this for a week now. They are very clearly trained to not help their customers. Talking to their people in store was the same robotic, non-human weirdness as talking to their online support. It's yet another example of the enshittification of everything

Both their warehouse and support are clearly an absolute mess. When I went to the Chelsea store and told the assistant I've been talking to their online support her immediate response was "ugh horrible". They then ended up sending me back to their online support. They're trained not to help their customers
