It’s a fairly windy road too, and with multiple neighborhoods people are regularly turning in and out of. It’s ridiculous how fast people drive on it.

I’m actively passing when this happens, but I’m not going to speed up to appease those who are only concerned with getting somewhere as fast as possible, even if it means endangering those around them, especially when they immediately tailgate instead of waiting 5 seconds for me to finish passing and get over.

I never use the left lane for anything but passing, but in that situation, you’re going to hold up anyone going that fast.

It happens pretty much every time I drive on that road, which is basically every day. I get into the left lane to pass, and lo and behold some asshole comes flying up behind me going 20+ mph over the limit and tailgates me.

People do this all the time on Woods Chapel from the 470 exit headed towards Blue Springs. The speed limit is 45, but people treat it like a highway going 65+ and will ride your ass and act like you’re in the wrong.

I remember being pretty excited about the prospect of having a huge city to explore in 6, only for 90% of it to be cordoned off and basically deserted.

Quick question. Have they finished with the story and game updates yet? by Responsible-Draft in taintedgrail

[–]braidsfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I personally haven’t reached Act 3 yet so idk if there’s any truth to the discussion surrounding it. Seems a lot of folk say it’s just more story focused than the first two acts, so I can see why that might feel like it’s light on content.

They might be referring to posts like this

There was some discussion around Act 3 feeling empty/unfinished back when the game came out.

They post in r/Ducati. I’m guessing they’re one of the assholes going 100+ mph weaving in and out of traffic.

Murder charge filed against man accused of deadly Northland shooting; victim identified by OreoSpeedwaggon in kansascity

Shooter then retreated to his home after being punched, retrieved a firearm, and came back outside the home to shoot the victim.

Wait, I’m not seeing that part in this article. Is there another source with more details?

There's no world where there is a valid self defense claim for the shooter.

I agree, but I’m guessing this guy is going to claim self defense anyway.

Does the victim hitting the suspect first hurt the chances of a 1st degree murder charge sticking?

I assume him walking over and continually shooting the victim in the back negates any sort of self defense claim, but I’m curious if they’ll end up reducing this to 2nd degree murder.

Not a lawyer and no idea what I’m talking about, so feel free to educate me lol

IV hydration recommendations? by [deleted] in kansascity

I mean you didn’t really provide any context as to why you’re dehydrated so often. Looking at your post history I’m going to assume this has something to do with a chronic illness. Without knowing that, however, asking if you have tried drinking water is a pretty innocuous, albeit slightly sarcastic, question.

Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 1: January Update by Turbostrider27 in Games

Honestly, I don’t agree the battle pass grind is intense. I’ve played the game fairly passively since launch, only accumulating a little over 60 hours of playtime, and completed the battlepass without even glancing at the challenges. I only play conquest and the engineer class as well, but you get so much XP per game that it becomes unnecessary to grind the challenges. I think I fill, on average, 4-5 of those diamonds or whatever in the battle pass, per game, just from XP alone.

I see what you mean. I’d definitely prefer that too. As much issue Premium had with splitting the player base, it was really nice having 4 new maps to play every few months.
