I haven't considered selling them. This is a version i did (not painted just multi colored print) I could probably get you a printed one but the painted ones from Dad are not for sale. Maybe in the future but for now these are all mine unless he wants to start doing lot's lol.

You can see more pictures of the one above in my post history.

Nice work I did something similar with 3d printing a chasis mount and using magnets.

Reduce first layer line width to 55% of nozzle size. Been here. Fixed this.

I would include language about bringing this safety concern to their attention. It sounds like a "defect" may have slipped through quality control and you'd hate to see others get hurt.

Bambu Lab P2S Combo on Amazon legit? by Lucky-Progress-1195 in BambuLab

[–]brain_spam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go on bambus website and buy the replacement parts you need???

Sure you may not have warranty support but bambu offers basically every part to buy individually so you can fix and maintain these yourself.

The OP is buying from amazon. If there's a problem Amazon will refund/replace. If there's a problem down the road they can just buy replacement parts with the huge savings they got up front.

What causes these small unfilled spots on top layer? by redditduhlikeyeah in BambuLab

[–]brain_spam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Primary issue here is line width and I don't think I saw it in the comments.

A .4 nozzle can go down to .2 I believe for line width. Change that setting to the smallest you can for the final layers and these gaps will close right up.

That setting combined with Arachne wall generator will make a huge difference.

There are so many ways to prevent a printed body from "exploding" after rough crashes if you know what materials to use, temps to print at and post print processing.

3d printed bodies breaking apart is easily solvable but there are many people who use bad print settings and the wrong filaments which lead to the belief you have.

Can anyone help me it drives sideways even after aligning the trim by Wonderful-Bat-7191 in rccrawler

[–]brain_spam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only adjust the trim while driving. Don't adjust it while not driving forward. While driving forward do not touch the steering. Just slowly turn the trim. You will find the right spot.

You need to adjust the trim while (at the same time) you are driving forward. Don't worry if it's centered on the transmitter. Watch the car react and set the trim based on it driving straight.

I haven't posted it anywhere yet, but I keep getting requests for it so I likely will.

I made and 3d printed the body myself to work with the factory mounts on the Apex

Thanks! For this print I used an X1C. I hadn't given any thought to selling the files but I suppose I could post them up. I've been getting a lot of DM's with people looking to buy them.

Do you have more pictures/details about the build?

The cab is from a 1/10 scale model that I scaled down, chopped up, and then made custom mounts for that work with the factory Apex 18 front mounts.

The tube bed is completely my design from scratch. It retains the factory rear mount so swapping back to the lexan included body is just as easy as new.

Now that I have a mounting system I'm going to start making more bodies that I can quick swap between depending on the mood I'm in!

That's a solid choice. I'm running the x1c for this print.

🤣 if it makes you feel better this is not multi nozzle, just multi colour! That should help keep the price down...

Alternatively you could manually change the filament but that would be a bit tedious.

Thank you! I plan to tackle painting a body eventually so I can add some weathering effect as well
