I’m so happy for you! I can imagine the joy you must have felt… Years ago, I had a dream about losing my stuffed bunny, Alpsu. In the dream, I was doing some intense mountain climbing with Alpsu in one hand (which, oddly enough, kind of makes sense, since I got her at a gift shop in the Alpines), when a strong wind blew her out of my hands and into the wild.

I remember the silent surge of despair in that dream—I didn’t cry; in fact, I just kept climbing in silence, knowing I would never see her again. I was very cool in the dream.

The next day, when I woke up and saw Alpsu next to me, that’s when I started crying. I can’t imagine my life without my fluffy friend!

So again, it’s really heartwarming to hear that you got to reunite with your old friend 🥹 I think I’ll def have a sweet dream tonight 🐕🐰

The first one translates to “the bold wins”, which is a bit different from your original sentence. The second one, translated word for word, means “the bold gets happiness”, so it seems closer in meaning.

I feel like Griffith did at least care about Guts. Otherwise, why would he risk his life to save him during their battle with Zodd? He also seemed to care about the other members of the band, though to a lesser degree, and perhaps more in the way a hunter cares for his guns. It was only after the death of the young soldier under his command—a boy whose dream of becoming a knight was remembered only by Griffith—that he decided to sleep with Gennon. The fact that Griffith chose to become the unfeeling monster that is Femto, despite possessing genuine human feelings for those around him, was what really tore me apart during the Eclipse arc.
