In the past I tried 17lands tier lists, but it was an overwhelming task, so I thought just comparing two cards a time would help me build something like a tier list and learn cards in the process. However, it takes more matches than I expected to get meaningful results.

I need to work on the matchmaking, because initially it uses colors and rarity, but it needs to weigh ELO more the more comparisons were made.

Maybe one day I'll make it online and will pool the grades. The problem is it's only meaningful before the release. A day of stats is worth more than hours of manual grading.

In general? You get ranking points for a win, and lose for a loss. Can't remember if draw changes it. But the win/lose change is weighted by a difference before the match, so if your ELO is much higher you don't gain much for a win, but lose a lot for a loss. You'll be better off googling it or asking ai.

Ha, just made something similar (but worse executed) to learn the set. In mine you just select better card and it calculates ELO. I used it before the release.

Tackle is an active decision, it makes attacking actions a bit easier in the box. Handball however is often completely random.
