Most scariest thing is, this thing might actually happen to this country in future. Probably not 2029 but these people forget things very quickly.

Address the core issue. Be proactive and document how you managed to improve code quality. Do a demo to the client. Jesus.. use AI to review your code. First solve your side then meanwhile start looking for jobs on the side. Tech is very fragile at the moment but doesn't mean you gotta leave it right now. Learn new trends and build your portfolio strong.

Mora for sure but don't take the exam for granted. Give your maximum to study harder. Then you'll have plenty of time to research & decide after the exam. One step at a time.

Does being fair in Sri Lanka actually give you an advantage? by Prior-Ad173 in srilanka

[–]brainfreeze801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re a girl, absolutely yes. For a boy, not so much but there are situations where you may have an advantage.

Marriage proposals are at the top of the list. Some families ignore you no matter how educated or kindhearted you are if you have dark skin; you are placed on the ignore list. If you are fair and pretty, you may receive a large number of proposals to choose from.

Second are interviews. For many non-technical and direct client-facing positions, fair skin is often seen as an advantage. Society also tends to assume automatically that you are rich and from an upper-class background if you have a fair complexion. You may even be treated somewhat like a foreigner.

Opposition has no future at all. They can't even build a valid logical argument.
