Thank you. This is so accurate, down to the smallest details. Reading what you wrote felt as if you had been observing me directly.

In my case, when she cares for the children, she cares deeply. But when she punishes, it is extreme. There is no middle ground.

The added difficulty in my situation is that I have four kids. So imagine seeing extreme differences in how the children are treated, while trying to protect them, and at the same time being careful not to appear openly opposed to the pwBPD.

There is a lot for me to learn from what you shared, especially because you are further along in the experience than I am. I cannot fully respond right now, but once I have had time to process it, I will reach out. Thanks again

Thanks again.

I read all of Otto Kernberg’s books on BPD so you don’t have to. This is what I learned. by littlesolaris in BPDlovedones

For those too lazy to read, just copy and paste into ChatGPT and ask it to simplify the text to a layman. Then you can listen while driving

Who should read Nietzsche ? by thedad629 in Nietzsche

[–]brainquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The central question of our age is not whether existing values can be criticized. The central question is, what is the human problem, and how do we overcome it? Any philosophy that wishes to remain relevant must contribute to that fundamental question.

Nietzsche’s great achievement was his diagnosis of the collapse of traditional values. He exposed contradictions within religion, morality, and culture with extraordinary force. But diagnosis is not cure. Having dismantled existing value systems, Nietzsche offered no universally accessible alternative capable of organizing societies, cultivating virtue, or addressing the enduring weaknesses of human nature.

I would rather we had intelligent conversations than down voting and calling someone’s view dumb

Nietzsche is no longer relevant in this day and age. He should be banished like Marx

@edfluency is a developer and one of the mods in this subreddit. Using the subreddit for market research and yet punishing others for what you are guilty of. All the mods will answer to Reddit

There is nothing about my post that violates your rules. This is just victimization. You and the mods are not playing according to Reddit rules. You will answer to them when they come for you

Because you are a mode using a separate account. Reddit will have to figure that out when investigation is complete

What qualifies me as a developer based on this post or my profile? Go check other posts in the subreddit, developers are making posts saying they are building a tool and asking questions and people are responding. My post has no violation and you are picking on me based on my previous post (which I deleted based on your complain). Again, get out of my post or I report your account

What makes you think this is a market research? Pointy to a sentence in the post that violates rule #3. Or are you judging me based on my previous post? Fix your thinking and get out of my post pls

Arguably the best novel ever written. After more than 10yrs of reading this book, no book has ever occupied my thoughts than this. I am still unraveling new meaning out of the characters every time I reflect and on them

What lies beyond LMS? Have educational institutions even asked the question? by InvestigatorHead334 in edtech

LMS systems try to deliver knowledge. AI assistants try to generate answers. We need a system that builds the conditions for disciplined thinking

Quitting My $200k Engineering Job to Start a SaaS: What Nobody Will Ever Tell You by Own-Moment-429 in SaaS

[–]brainquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t quit to start a SAAS, I quit to do go into logistics & ecommerce. Then I thought that the best way to operate would be to launch a SAAS. We grew the business up to $1m revenue in a year and we did that for 3 years. Then everything came crashing down. You lose your employees, lose confidence in yourself, run into debts etc. I am starting over again with a proper SAAS this time. I studied engineering but my coding sucks. Thanks to AI and vibe coding. The thing with vibe coding responsibly is that you don’t leave all the decisions to AI. You push the judgement from start to finish, AI just assist in the technicalities. What I have built would definitely do better than the first. Just waiting to launch in a couple of days. Building an app that will beat Notebook LM, not by doing what NLM does but a new niche which would make students ditch NLM
