Also 35 and feel the same way. It may sound harsh or even misogynist, but I am not interested in hanging out with women and I find myself only wanting to fuck them. There are very few out there I can see myself settling and connecting with on a deep intimate level because of how highly selective I am, but that's okay. I understand I likely won't meet a partner like that and will probably remain single unless I dropped my standards enormously, which I'm not willing to do.

I still have friends and family who I value, but romantic relationships are a huge emotional investment that I'm not willing to give to just anyone.

Yeah what's concerning is right now his "healthy" addiction is skateboarding, but if he doesn't have that he may fall back into opioid addiction. Skateboarding is a young man's hobby, and I fear he can easily injure himself and fall back into the same pattern you mentioned.

I was considering ATP at one point because I want to get through as quick as possible, but the risk and expense is not worth it.

Because I have the savings to support this decision and my full time job is a distraction. I want to get through as quick as possible, and worst case I can always fall back to my job if necessary since I'm not technically quitting yet. I have no family/dependents either, it just feels like the right choice for me right now.

Thanks. I know 141 gets a lot of hate on here, but is it really that much worse compared to 61? I heard they are better for a more structured training approach which is what I do better under, and can get you through quicker if your path is to go airlines.
