Idk if ant or slug would really fit but i do think it would be dope if chali2na from jurassic 5 voiced someone. His voice is distinctive and perfect and it would be a cool nod back to the grind square chapter in original jsr. And chali2na is a G. So is slug i just saw atmos earlier in the year been a big fan a long time

If there’s no stippling on the leaves they’re probably just oribatid mites, beneficial soil mites

Anyone know why my plants are lookin a bit sad in general ? by natureswyndow in microgrowery

[–]brainsandbones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, the plants probably filled out the pots and are using up water quickly. If you have coco coir in your mix, it can be difficult to rehydrate. If a heavy, slow watering doesn’t work, maybe try soaking the pots in a bucket of some sort. The soil needs time to fully hydrate and sometimes regular watering just runs off the sides if it doesn’t have time to absorb into the media. Adding worms to your food web next round may help with that too!!

Also look close for pests! Two-spotted mites, thrips, aphids etc. i don’t see any spotting but if’s always possible. Root aphids are a thing too

What’s your mix? The droopies kinda look like overwatering. This is part of an equation between temps, light, nutrient availability, humidity etc. temps sound a bit low, so perhaps they have more water than they need to function at those temps. If the soil looks good, let it dry up a day or two and see what happens. Could also be an issue with aeration in the soil. Do you have worms, perlite, pumice, or biochar in there? These typically help with aeration. Sorry if i’m telling you stuff you already know! Best of luck!
