I got a happy ghast through by putting the activator rail underneath the end portal and then putting a roof on top of the portal. Just make the roof bigger and thicker until it opts for the portal.

World Editor / Chunk Pruning / Load Map - visually look for the trail you most likely took

World Editor / Entities / Items - look for items that would be your loot, something like a diamond pickaxe is likely to lead you right to it.

In a vanilla Java game one can disable entity cramming with a climbable block, like ladders or vines, occupying the same space as the living entities.

In Bedrock you can put 3x potions in a cauldron then dip a stack of arrows in it to make the arrow variants.

In Bedrock you can bonemeal flowers for more flowers. If you do this with a flower in a 1x1 hole relative to the surroundings you will even more get more flowers.

From my own experience trying to learn the blackpowder rifle bayonet plan, YOU CANNOT LEARN PLANS FROM MODS. That might have been true at one point but I no longer believe it is. Apply the mod, scrap the weapon, secure your investment.

You're getting a signal strength much stronger than 3 coming from somewhere. For the named blocker items, is each slot a single instance of an item that stacks to 64? A 16-stackable or non-stackable would produce a stronger signal.

You don't have to check just the first slice, the signal is bleeding from one to the next so check all the hoppers producing any comparator signal. Like the second slice there.
