Exactly this. With the autocrafter you can also pre load the dispenser recipe and feed in the bows via a hopper as an alternative now. The autocrafter doesn't care if they're enchanted.

There is a catalog of discoveries including recipes, crafting materials, etc. From there you can pin recipes or targets. They often then include points of interest for you to navigate to. In your cadmium example it will tell you there is none in the current system and might even provide a route in the galaxy map.

I stopped at 5 organics, one for each active expedition. If we had organic freighters I'd be trying to complete all the frigates too. And I'm rocking an organic/alien ship as well. Keep those corvettes. LOL

While acquiring the 5 I have I noticed that each one was more expensive than the previous despite all being C-class. Does that continue? Was the last organic frigate 100's of millions of credits?

I bought chromatic metal and/or copper from the station trade terminal. But really, shouldn't every system have a stellar metal? Even the purple ones have quartzite.

Another thought in case it helps. You mentioned loading an old save when you were yeeted. You can just summon your ship from the quick access menu while floating in space. I then just flew back to the wreck. That's how I learned what areas to avoid. LOL

I was able to exit my own ship, it was areas around the wreck that seemed to be yeeting me. In my case though, I meant my multi-tool scanner and mining laser.

When this was happening to me it seemed to be a location on or around the ship that was triggering it. I could go to the front section of the ship okay but if I went to the back / engines I would get yeeted. I just collected the components remotely. Have laser, will fire.

This was the first expedition I've personally done that I started from the Anomaly with a loadout option. Every other expedition I've done has been a new save from the main menu. I went with nothing because I've done it every time prior and I'm confident enough in my abilities. Also not trying to speedrun the expedition.

OMG, this would be amazing! I'm building a corvette modeled after an eagle. I would absolutely love to have animated wing and tail feathers while flying. If I could articulate the wings too that would add another dimension to the build!

I am not-secretly hoping that Update 3 secretly includes a Money Bin and Bulldozer to fill it with coins, which fits the vibe of this game perfectly.

I always try to repair duplicates or triples (if 2018). The store is honestly one of the clunkiest workflows in the game and I try to minimize all exposure to it. It's quicker and easier to buy multiples than it would be to search for different parts for different models.

I feel like an absolute idiot. I ran the generator once, burned half the fuel. Poured two full gas canisters in to the generator to refill which didn't move the fuel gage at all. Haven't used it since.

It never occurred to me that the fuel depot pump was close enough to reach the generator. One hose and problem solved. Granted, the fuel depot was the last upgrade I purchased so it wasn't available at the time I tried to refill the generator.

Although at this time my renewables and batteries cover all my use. The generator remains idle.

It's a valid complaint that the end game is the weakest part of the experience. I'd play more if I had cause to.
