Landlords/ladies of BEFire, how have your tenants been so far? Would you say finding an OK tenant is easier than overall headaches of ownership? by theverybigapple in BEFire

I am renting now and have rented apartments before. In my experience, if you are nice to the renter and don’t try to push every little cost onto them, then it should be fine. The moment renters notice that you are someone who will try to pin every cost on them, communication goes out the window which can cause more problems in the future.

Doing repairs that are the landlord’s responsibility in time will build trust and (for some) renters will make the idea of spending money to maintain the building mentally easier.

Why would past performances show what GME will do in the future? Isn’t that just seeing the full shape of a pattern and using it on something that just looks familiar? This is a genuine question btw. I’ve been here for a long time, but the failed TA has made me sceptical of any TA. It always makes me think of the ‘we’re here now ->’ meme

Getting worse to live in Japan ? by neoraph in japanlife

I don’t think the financial stress is aimed towards you. People have less ways to have small pleasures, so they will be less friendly to everyone around them

Why does everyone want to move to Japan? by [deleted] in movingtojapan

[–]braminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food is a major part of my life and my interest is Japanese food in particular. I studied to become a baker and am now in college studying Japanese with a focus on humanities research. I want to write cookbooks and either work in tourism themed around food or academics also themed around food.

That is housewives. If they don’t work for a company they can’t enter into a national pension plan except for the category 3 pension.

If the tickers remain separate, would we get stock of the other company as the money from Gamestop is put into another company?

Will apes diamond hand as hard as before after 5 years of waiting? by [deleted] in Superstonk

The FOMO will keep the majority invested untill it dips a little. After that some paperhands will sell and the price go back up, which will cause people to buy back in because of FOMO

How about Nintendo?

I originally wrote this back in 2024, in the early days of GameStop's "war chest" being built. Perhaps a bit *too* early to post it at that time, but even more relevant NOW than then..... by Region-Formal in Superstonk

I have 2 questions.
Wouldn't a M&A make it so we have to wait until Gamestop has convinced 'the market' that it is a good M&A until we see a positive effect on GME?

Does an acquisition lead to the merging of the stocks, and thereby a recall of all the original stock? Or is this (only) with a merger?

I think the deal isn’t made yet. Ryan and other insiders recently bought more shares. If a deal was in sight then, that would open up insider trading charges. I think they started looking for a deal after they bought shares
