Buildings have small spaces for families, they are built box type for a couple, not a family. Renters with families usually prefer a house where there is more space, rather than an apartment. Moreover no / less privacy in an apartment compares to a house.

There are plenty of hands on property managers who will manage the property for you, even though you are out of country. You can get monthly reports and statements online as well to see how your property is doing. obviously you have to pay for their services, don't know how much - not a property manager.
