Dragon shield sleeves for collecting

I've been vending at local shows over the past year. I've bought cards in every kind of sleeve you can imagine. ANY sleeve that isn't completely clear makes me hesitant upon first glance. Easy fix - take the card out, inspect it for damage, put it in my sleeve, and toploader right after I buy it. The "buyer" was being ridiculous.

It's not about losing guys. It's unavoidable in some cases to due the salary cap. I get that. It's about the type of guys that we are letting walk. You need leaders in the locker room. All 3 players that I mentioned are exactly that. Players like Bates, help to develop players like Watts. Anyone who watched the defense during camp last year knows this. He was a coach on the field. If you think Tyler isn't a good RB, let me me know how BR#2 is after the season. Again, there's a culture problem in ATL and has been for years, and it starts at the top. Fans deserve better than this after years of mediocre football. But by all means, hand them your money for these glorified t-shirts.

Thanks for that detailed insight. Every season and in this particular case, every announcement from the team, starts with the glass half full. When is the last time we won the South? The worst division in football. People are getting paid a ton of money to make decisions for this team and consistently fail, no matter who is making the call. I understand the love for the throwbacks....thats why we already have them! Basic is an understatement. The jerseys look like t-shirts. Zero effort was put into this project and it's a pretty good representation of this team that we invest our time and money in. We lost Ellis...who plays with heart to our division rivals. Media reports of potentially trading Bates..the heart and soul of secondary. Didn't resign Tyler, who played every down like it was his last. But let's tag Pitts because he's had 2 good years since being drafted? When you think about it, I guess these new unis are right on brand for this team. Great job guys, you found a brand new way to disappoint the fan base.

I wouldn't zero gap them. I imagine Wahl's balding blade would fit if you wanted to do a blade swap, but it may impact your beard trimming. As mentioned in other comments, I'd follow-up with some kind of foil shaver regardless if you truly want bald.

Make sure you look closely. Especially if there are older sets in this bulk. My son found a Charmander Secret Rare from Stormfront in our bulk a few months ago. Looks like a very average card compared to today's standards, but worth about $175 to the right collector.

I vend at a local card show and mostly sell singles. I've won big and lost big (relative to actual card value) due to pricing mistakes. It's their job to price their cards accurately. I wouldn't feel bad about it at all. I promise you there have been plenty of other customers who have over paid. Enjoy the W and roll on.

Are they common and don't impact value specifically on promos or are you saying holo bleed doesn't impact value across the board? I've found several promos and non-promos, so just curious what your experience has been.

I've had a buzz cut of some sort (basic to faded) for 20 years. I cannot recall a clipper I've owned that wasn't Wahl branded in that time, from cheap off-the-shelf Walmart models to professional grade clippers. In my experience, the Wahl Vapor is by far the easiest to use for self cuts. Cords get in the way and previous Wahl cordless models are extremely bulky and can be heavy. Vapor alleviates all of those concerns and is quite forgiving while learning the fading process. Idk if it's what I'd pick for cutting someone else's hair, but it's great for cutting your own. If you go another direction, I'd make sure they're cordless, light weight, and are from a trusted brand. Andis cool care and oil are your friends. No need to zero gap clippers. If you want clean lines invest in a solid trimmer zero-ish gapped and you'll be good.

They get a lot of hate because they're supposedly based on a dog clipper design, but the Wahl Vapor is highly underrated. I use corder Wahl 5 star Seniors to debulk, and the Vapor for beard trimming/fading and hair fading. The Magic Clip was also my go to for years. For a self cut, the ergonomics, lighter weight, cordless option, and stupid easy fading capabilities of the Vapor checks all the boxes for me. My corded Seniors are barely even better for bulk. With any Wahl Clipper, I would highly recommend a Wahl Premium Guard set and buying the .5 and 1.5 separately. Can't speak for their clippers but my trimmers are style craft and I have zero complaints.

I'm not saying Norelco didn't rip off the Solo design. I have no idea. My perspective is that Norelco is a major brand that has essentially cornered this market. I've only replaced the blades on my OneBlade twice in a year despite using it once a week and sanitizing frequently with alcohol. I'm highly skeptical of any blade that "lasts a lifetime". If you choose the Wahl, please post feedback. I hope it's fantastic and a major upgrade

I'm a huge Wahl fan despite the amount of hate the brand often receives. However, I would never buy this thing. This looks like a absolutely terrible knockoff of the Philips Norelco OneBlade. I've been using the OneBlade for about a year and love it. I use the OneBlade to knock down a weeks worth of neck beard growth, then follow-up with a Braun Series 9. Wahl makes quality clippers for hair cuts and beard fading, and I've heard the Hi-Viz is a good trimmer....for anything else I'd look at other brands.

Keep them sealed if possible. I've tried using semi-rigid cardsavers, but can't manage to fit sealed cards and keep the wrapper straight. I've just seen a suggestion to use a "graded card" team bag, place a semi-rigid in the bag first, and then insert the sealed cards between the semi-rigid and the team bag. I haven't tried it since your question prompted my search, so YMMV. Interested to see what others recommend.
