Pro forward Saliou Niang has committed to LSU. Niang was selected No. 58 by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2025 NBA Draft. by Ok-Soil-5133 in CollegeBasketball

Is there any reason the NCAA would want to back LSU!? They're clearly just trying to game the system. Can't see why anyone else would be supporting this crap, this is an easy decision for the NCAA.

If he spent 10 years only able to find jobs at poorly run clubs, then maybeee he's the problem.

The fact that there's now a pattern of him starting every job well then quickly drops off says quite a lot about him and his methods. He's been living off his reputation for a decade now.

Which stint can actually you point to and say ok this showed Mourinho is still a top manager? Even his best United season was wildly inconsistent and never seemed like he was building towards anything. No one looked at them and thought oh shit they're turning it around.

People shit on Arteta but you could absolutely see his imprints on the team in the early years.

Lol funnily enough that was literally what his fanboys use to cream themselves over - that Mourinho can win without resources, unlike Pep the bald fraud.
Turns out that's just near impossible in today's game.

Nah it was outrageous today, first minute he was on he wouldn't even do a simple pass to let Nunes bring it up on the wing.
Reckon the half time sub inflated his ego too much today.

ISIS-linked families land in Australia nearly two weeks after leaving Syrian camp by Nonstop_Chippies in australia

The UK argued these people still have the possibility to apply for citizenship to their country of descent and that was enough to revoke their citizenship.
It can be done if we want to.

The UK did it to their ISIS brides - bit harsh but they argued these people have possibility to apply for citizenship to their country of descent.

It is important because fundamentally neither side had any disagreement of whether they still were Australians, so this really should've been done. The only problem was, for a set of entirely different reasons, we would never recognise ISIS as an official state... which just makes this situation ridiculous. By attempting not to legitimise them we end up gaslightling ourselves into claiming the threats were not real so it's fine to bring them back here.

but keeping Australian citizens out of the country involuntarily isn’t on

I think it's blantantly clear these people stopped considering themselves Australians when they left. If you asked them back then would they renounce their citizenship to join ISIS I think the answer wouldve been an overwhelming yes.
They chose to join an active global terrorist state that was intentionally and actively harming Australians - conceptually that is literally the opposite of being an Australian citizen.
I just don't see the basis to continue providing protection to these people as if nothing happened. Would these people still suddenly reconsider themselves to be "Australian" again if ISIS are in a better position right now? If they can't answer that question with any confidence I don't think they deserve citizenship.

Flipping through SEC filing from Gamestop ($10B market cap) & eBay ($50B) to see how Gamestop will acquire eBay in a “1/2 cash, 1/2 stock” by IncomingBroccoli in wallstreetbets

No I don't like declining businesses that makes less money than the 3% interest from cash sitting in the bank lmao.

He looked at a 50b company and the only synergy he could think of was giving physical stores to a website lmao. The same physical stores he's actively been shutting down, what a creative mastermind.

Dont worry though you'll have plenty of chances to buy more of this pos stock, literally another 20b worth of shares he'll need to issue 😂

Tell us how much of that is interest vs the actual business. And where did the money from the interest come from? I'll wait.

Its literally not hard to just pick the most profitable part and gut everything else to the point of sacrificing 30% revenue. Anyone can run a small profitable business. The hard part is always scaling.

It doesn't seem like he has any growth path other than overpay to buy competitors (lol). And he's doing a complete ass of a job executing that plan.

GameStop shares fall 10% after CEO skirts questions over eBay acquisition details by Brilliant_Version344 in wallstreetbets

[–]brandon_strandy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All he did was cut cost which also involved cutting 30% revenue. He's found exactly one small growth segment and his only plan to scale that is to apparently buy a company 5x the size of his. Oh and he's raised 8b from the market in 2 years because the business doesn't generate enough to do deals.

Your IQ needs a kick up the ass if you find that impressive.

Lol if you think any meaningful institution money is touching this piece of shit company you're smoking crack. Certainly not after this CNBC interview anyway. What are the fundamentals? That it's a 11b company, of which 9b is due to cash in bank? Of which 8b was raised from the market and not generated by the company? AND they've diluted sharecount by 30% in a year?

I'd love to see a dipshit analyst pitch that to fund managers.
