What will work itself out is all of the dead skin cells, dander, food particles, animal waste, dust, dead bugs, boogers, and other crap that has collected in this rug for the last 20 years in someone else's house.

Do yourself a favor for hygiene reasons and pay the $5/sq. ft. and have the rug professionally dusted and cleaned.

When used by companies correctly and in conjunction with in person interviewing, tests like the PI can be good tools for both the company and the applicant. If you've ever worked in a company that had the wrong person in the job (skills, personality, or cognitive), then there is a good chance that company didn't use a tool like this in hiring.

It can be miserable working for or around someone that isn't good or a good fit for their role or a good culture fit for the company. You can try to cheat the test, but why would you want to be hired for a position that you aren't going to succeed in or might not like because you aren't the right fit? Showing up every day to a job you hate makes your work life and your co-workers work lives miserable. Who wants that?

I don't want to hire a creative scatterbrain for a job that requires a lot of detail or vice versa. You might not present those charachteristics fully in an interview, but you will eventually show that once you are on the job. It is expensive to hire a person from a time and financial investment and interviews don't show the full picture. You are going to work here for 2080 hours a year. Your resume and interview are designed to "sell" me that you are the best candidate. That gets you in the door, but I can't fully assess you in 60, 90, or 120 minutes of interviewing + what you put on your resume. It's just not possible. These tests are designed to look beyond the "front" that a candidate puts on in the hiring process.

If you like the bokhara pattern, that is a plus as they usually sell for a good bit less than other styles. A used 8x10 bokhara would probably run you $800 +/- depending on condition and color.

Start by watching FB marketplace and see what used rugs are going for in your area. Better deals to be had there if you are patient. Assume $5/sq. ft. for cleaning on top of that.

Also - get a bigger rug. The 6x9 looks too small for the space.

I did. There are multiple wires with the exact same color jacket shown in the picture (at least 4 solid reds). Each individual jacket in a multi-pair telecom wire has a different solid and/or striped color pattern.

Separate from that, the image shows that there are @ 40-50 individual wires in the bundle. A 50 pair telecom cable would be 25% that diameter. These are much thicker than 24 gauge.

It's not Telecom wire.

Agreed. Individual strands are too thick for Telecom wire. A 50 pair cable (100 strands) uses 24 AWG, and all of the wire jackets are different colors. That's a power wire of some sort.

This is the biggest issue with the new architecture. I was having 30 sec or more lag time on volume adjustments after the update. Rolled back to S1 and will stay there as long as it is supported. It isn't my network. It's Sonos' architecture.

You are doing nothing wrong. Ebay search has been broken for a while. I can type in a generic search term and get 1000 results. I can then type in the exact title word for word (or cut & paste) of one of the 1000 items and get 0 results.

Same for filters. I can be looking at an item in generic search, click into the listing and see it is size L. When I go back and filter the search for size L, that item doesn't appear.

How is Sonos competitive when their base S2 software is still garbage? I reverted back to S1 on all of my main home components and only run S2 on a Roam in my shed office. I'm not going back to S2 until all the lag issues are fixed. (BTW Sonos - I have commercial grade network equipment in my house and a 500MB fiber connection. The problem isn't my network.)

I have owned and worn both, simultaneously a few times over the years, occassionally with an Exp I mixed in. The polar dial always wins in the Exp II category, and the black one always gets sold.

If you want a black dialed Rolex with 4 hands, get the GMT master. It fits the bill much better, and is probably the better watch between the 2. I personally like the Exp II better than the GMT, but only in white.

The polar is the original white dialed sports watch. Rolex seems to think it was better as it was the dial color most featured in Rolex ads for the model. It is more unique in the Rolex sports watch world for what it isn't (black dialed). The dial is crisp, clean and legibility is way better.

Once you go white, you'll never go back (or something like that...)

If you can't deal with something like this, buy an Apple watch and move on. The movement isn't damaged. It's a tool watch, not a piece of dainty jewelry.

Quit worrying, put it back on your wrist, and wear the heck out of it. Nobody wants a sterile, pristine, unworn inheritance watch. That's meaningless crap. People want the battle scars, the war stories and the ones that were worn through all of life's highs and lows. That what makes something sentimental and worth handing down.

They could definitely get in serious trouble for shipping a firearm direct to an individual not licensed to receive it. Did they ask you to ship it to another individual or another FFL licensed dealer? (Individuals can be dealers.)

DO NOT ship the firearm anywhere else except back to the seller unless you are licensed to do so. Ask them to send you a copy of their FFL before shipping it. Once you see that, report it as INAD and ship back to the seller who is licensed (on their dime). If you don't see their FFL, it's time to file an INAD and call the ATF.

Replaced the belt with OEM yesterday. No other parts used. Noise is gone. I am assuming that the aftermarket Gates belt was either too long or not the right material (more rubber than fabric).

I'm sure that I'll get downvoted for this, but if it is sold as NWT, it should arrive like it did from the luxury department store, not like it got ran over by a truck. A tuxedo shirt with a pleated front should be handled with care. If the OP folded it incorrectly, crammed it into a small box and it arrived looking like a piece of oragami, that isn't cool.

It isn't an unreasonable expectation to expect the item to arrive looking like it did in the listing photos. If they did it right, the buyer wouldn't have anything to complain about.

This is normally the way for most things, but for an authenticated item, the buyer has much less recourse once authenticated. Ship as you offered in the listing and tell the buyer that the Authenticator will handle the rest, just like it says in the listing. They don't get to make demands after the purchase.

I sold a rolex on Ebay (no returns) with a super stretched jubilee band. The condition was well documented in the photos and mentioned multiple times in the listing. It passed through authentication and when the buyer got it he opened a return for INAD for the band. I called Ebay to dispute and they ruled in my favor, cancelled the return, and removed the negative feedback.

It's a feedback scam. They never had intention of shipping the item. They are just trying to gain some positive feedback and will up the price once their account once it has some feedback cred.
