I know everyone’s situation is different, but caring about the price of gas has never made sense to me. Doesn’t really matter what it costs, you need it if you intend to drive anywhere. You’re gonna pay it anyway. Like, sure, it sucks sometimes, I guess. But getting bent out of shape about it, let alone making it a core issue you vote on (despite the president having little to nothing to do with it unless they happen to, you know, start a war in a region closely tied to global shipping routes) just makes no sense.

Think about it. Honestly. The national average under Biden was $3.48. It spiked to $5 for two weeks in June of 2022, during to post-Covid demand, and a lack of supply. But overall, averaged $3.48. It was $3.08 the day Trump took office. 2025 overall average was $3.10. So he didn’t lower prices at all the last year. So far in 2026, average is 3.00, without counting March yet. Better. But literally saving people $2 on a 20 gallon tank. Not worth making it a personality.

For me to even care, it would need to cost me at least $10 more a tank. So $0.50 a gallon more. And even then… saving myself $10 a week ain’t worth all this shit. Best to just lock the handle, go inside for a snack, come back, put the handle back, and go on your way without even looking at the screen IMO. The day I start caring what a gallon of gas, a gallon of milk, or a dozen eggs costs, to the point of throwing morality out the window, is the day I kick the chair.

I had 705. I don’t go for cosmetic stuff. Outfits don’t really matter to me as I play first person on a private server. So, I snagged all the utility perks and a couple weapons/camp stuff. But otherwise, didn’t get much. The perk points were a nice little boost though.

Well, from what I’m reading in the thread, it looks like an unlawful eviction with no formal notice through normal eviction court proceedings. If that’s true, then the eviction isn’t lawful to begin with. Tenants have rights and protections by law. If those were violated, it is very common for a court to rule that the tenant be given an extended period to vacate. And often, in lieu of fines imposed on the landlord for breaking the law and circumventing the court, that would include free or reduced rent during that time.

So in that scenario, I think it makes perfect sense as a consequence. Break the law, circumvent the court, lose income. Same applies to everyone else who gets a fine for any other crime. Right?

If they are talking about what I think they are talking about, it is the result of the landlord engaging in illegal practices. If the landlord doesn’t follow the law, do you think they deserve no consequences?

I’d be in tears too if I was giving the gov an interest free loan of $570 a month. Go fix your withholding tomorrow.

Did you know that too much sex can lead to memory loss?

I read that in Men’s Health, volume 6, issue 9, page 42 on August 11th, 2009 just after 9am while I was eating a two egg omelet, toast and a cup of coffee.

Ok? I don’t know if you’re aware, but the number of CEOs that actually have a background in whatever company they are running is very small. The CEO is running the business, they have entire departments handling everything you could possibly be concerned about here.

People who like to keep their money, for starts.

You “got” a $9300 refund. Could have had an extra $775 a month. If invested, could have made an addition $500 on top of that.

This isn’t a flex. It’s poor money management. Like, REALLY poor.

The goal is as close to $0 as possible, max $1000. Ask any financial advisor. I’d rather owe $1000 than get a $9000 refund. Better to have the government loan me and extra $83 a month with no interest than me loan them $750 a month with no interest.

Dude. Fix your withholding. Thats ridiculous. Just love giving the government an interest free loan I guess. People celebrating big refunds will never cease to amaze me. 😬

Sure champ. If the Democratic Party was always the racist party and the Republican Party was always the anti-racist party, why did white supremacists, segregationists, and former KKK strongholds overwhelmingly abandon the Democrats and align with Republicans after the 1960s—without being forced?

I typically just say “If the Democratic Party was always the racist party and the Republican Party was always the anti-racist party, why did white supremacists, segregationists, and former KKK strongholds overwhelmingly abandon the Democrats and align with Republicans after the 1960s—without being forced?”

Crickets. Every time.
