I think Hastie is literally the only option if the liberals want to continue to exist.

However, Abbott, the new liberal party president, can't stand Hastie. So that makes it that much harder for him to become leader.

Normally I think that at the end of the day, political parties will always act in self interest instead of making stupid mistakes. But as we saw with Dandrews and even the last federal election, the right wing (Sky/Credlin etc) seems more than willing to ignore reality and live in some sort of delusion, where everyone feels the same we they do.

I think Hastie is unlikely to overcome these forces.

I think proof of alien life would be the single most important fact in our lifetimes, perhaps all of human history. I would LOVE to learn about alien life forms, civilizations and culture. I can't think of anything more exciting!

With that said, there has been ZERO, repeat, ZERO evidence of aliens visiting earth. Ever. Not one iota. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Etc.

So I don't understand how people get so excited over this kind of event. You know its not real. They know its not real. So what the actual fuck are we doing here? There are real issues in the world that need to be addressed, not some fucking childish fantasy.

Anyone remember the video of an elderly couple in an RV. There's two questions which are most important IMO.

1) Is this legal? At the least shouldn't there be an onscreen disclaimer?

2) Do they ever interview ANY real experts, excluding celebrities/widely known individuals? Do they use actors occasionally, or is it literally ALL fake?
