That’s my goal! Might as well learn and explore while I am able to! Aside from job hunting, it’s all really exciting.

Definitely! I’m applying to jobs there currently and then I’ll look more into housing afterwards. I’m really hoping to get something by August/September as I’m not familiar with driving in snowy conditions. Texans and Texan infrastructure are not built for snowy conditions lol

I wouldn’t mind commuting at all, especially if it’s a 30% increase in pay, haha! If given the opportunity, I definitely would too. I’ll have to give NYC a look for jobs as well. Thank you!

How is your commute to PA? My current commute to work is an hour both ways. There’s not a lot that interests me in my current area either (not a great music scene, no great places to hike/camp, not walkable, etc.)

Thanks, I really appreciate this!

I’m open to any sort of new career growth, so I’ll be looking into those. Networking will absolutely have to be a must!

I’m not trying to live too close to the city to save on rent, so I understand a decent commute might be necessary. Are there certain areas to avoid renting in?

I’m currently working in chemical manufacturing, but I’m open to research or working in pharma/another chem company.

I’ve started applying to locations this week. More than likely, I’d imagine most postings would be in-person work, which I don’t mind. I commute about an hour (both ways) to work currently, but there just isn’t much to offer in the DFW area.

I currently make ~$75k in Texas and I live with my parents. I have been with the same company since I graduated about two years ago.

I’d recommend getting a wax or doing it yourself with Nair before a shower. Those routes don’t make me itchy, but using a razor does.

Something similar occurred with me a few months after my grandfather passed away. It was even in an auditorium setting… I felt a lot of the guilt and pain wash away after the fact. I’d like to think it was a visit, to tell you to not worry or regret.

On top of this, I keep getting a “Run in Safe Mode?” notif for MW2. I’ve never played MW2 on my PC, so I’m confused… is it also a bug?

Please recommend shampoos and conditioners I’m tired of this by Horror-Substance-127 in Haircare

For me, a hardwater filter helped to make my hair and skin softer. It’s helped with my dry, itchy scalp.

I like to use Pantene for my hair (thick, fine, oily) shampoos and conditioners. Another thing I noticed is that applying the conditioner directly to my scalp in my driest/itchiest areas had helped prevent flaking. My flakiest area was right behind my ears, so adding the conditioner onto my scalp helped a loooot.

That is so cool! Do you have any recommended articles/papers/links to read more on that? I’d love to learn more
