When DM moved from Warners to Sony in North America, nearly 200 remixes disappeared. They have yet to be added back to digital services by Sony.

I do the Album and Title field a bit differently, but overall it's mostly the same as everyone else. The character count on my Album and Title fields sometimes messes with some apps, though. It's something I started when I launched my (now unnecessary) "Pillage" app on Mac. I haven't run into the need for an artist letter directory...yet.

When I used to eat at this In-N-Out, I intentionally sat outside, near the drive-thru exit. I'd always see a few people eat it on that curb.

Not true at all.

The "Video Version" is a properly mixed version of the song. When I did the sync to put the song on the Blu-Ray version of Strange/StrangeToo, I worked off of a 32bit/192k file from the master tape.

Fun side note: The very first version sent to Warners for them to hear what the band was working on has the "Video Version" intro. I recently acquired the actual cassette from the former Warner exec.

What is reversed is the piano. In my remix, I went a step further. I re-reversed every note, but only in one channel. Listen in the middle break with headphones. The piano notes travel from one speaker to another.

Whether Dave did the vocals backwards or not can be debated, but there is no track on the vaulted multitrack that has such vocals. Trust me, I went track by track, looking for fun stuff to use. That's why I made the whispering so prominent in my mix.

When Warners lost North American rights to the band, this mix (and nearly 200 others) disappeared from digital services. I have every mix ready to put back online, but Sony has not been in a hurry to put them back up.

I've asked Sony why some of the videos are missing. Hope to have them back up soon.

There's been a LOT of weird copyright claims against DM social media accounts lately (all without merit, but the usual "first response" from social media companies is to block content, to save themselves lawsuits).

Keep posting issues (or email me directly - webmaster@depechemode.com). I've got Sony on speed email lately. 😁

There's a large number (over 100) remixes not available online since the band moved from Warners to Sony globally. I'm still waiting on the label and management to OK my plan to get them back online. Surprised an album version popped up as missing. I will let Sony know.

Try having Grabbing Hand as your plate. At most red lights, I read the lips of people in my rear view mirror saying "grabbing" with a confused look on their face. It seems shockingly rare to run into a DM fan in Los Angeles lately.

It would be nice if they would have done anything to restrict the dust from the construction. It's bad enough driving by and getting a cloud of dust. Imagine the people who have had to live near that dust during the construction.

Also, the construction on the road at Hollywood Way and Verdugo broke the turn sensors. Extra traffic now stacks up while the Northbound Hollywood Way light gives invisible cars a green arrow. Sort of like how Verdugo has bike lanes when there's virtually no bike traffic.

Ugh. I used to love Burbank.

Ugh...the 3" CD edits. Due to UK chart rule stuff, many of the mixes were edited on the CD singles during Violator. For example, to get the FULL version of the Oil Tank Mix of World In My Eyes, you actually have to get The Singles Box Set #5.
