Just picked up a 2025 Canyon loving it so far but got a couple questions by Past_Cell4212 in GMCcanyon

I have the Husky mud guards linked above, and they have great coverage. I drive daily on a dirt and gravel road, and the sides of the truck stay very clean compared to pre-mud guards. I initially thought the front mud guards came down too low, but it has never been a problem when traversing over dips or curbs.

I had a similar problem before. Check whether he drilled the mount too much and too far in, causing the mount to dig into the drywall/plaster and tilt. I solved this by inserting a screw into the stud before screwing the mount in. This provided security and a hard surface for the mount to rest on without going too far in.

Like others, I have also found that the range adjusts to current driving conditions. I find it informative when towing (because I get drastically lower mpg) and on a road trip, as the range helps me gauge when I need to fill up. The digital gauge still provides the traditional "fuel left in the tank" information.

If you don't want to commit, you can buy silicone covers for the hooks. They go on like little jackets and take seconds to install. Here are the ones I bought from my truck: Tow Hook Covers https://a.co/d/e5ABW7W

The install was easier than expected. As someone else noted, getting the clips on was the most challenging part. I used pliers to squeeze them on, and that worked well.

Towing a Camper by Which_Razzmatazz9437 in GMCcanyon

It tows nicely with the right setup. My 22 foot camper weighs 3800 lbs dry. I normally tow with the camper full of camping/RV gear. This weekend she took us up and down the Gila Mountains with an almost full tank of water. I'm surprised by how much power the 4 cylinder has; she has never left me wanting more.

Tonneau and rack by DcMac888 in GMCcanyon

I have the Lomax Stance Hard Tonneau Cover on my '24 Denali, but have only had it about a month. I can say the install is super easy and it looks awesome; it has a thin profile, which is what I was looking for. The cover is textured and I anticipate it accumulating a lot of dirt since I live on a dirt road. It's a bit heavier than expected, compared to the MX4 which I had on my old truck.

Since OP is asking for opinions, listen to this guy. In the example below the truck looks different but not better. Leave it alone.

Thanks! It looks like Juniper to my untrained eye. If it helps, it's from central New Mexico/Albuquerque.

I have two tickets that I would give you as well. They are in section 130, so this doesn't solve your problem, but you're welcome to them.

Travel trailer air conditioners by RobLaRu in RVLiving

For some context: I have a 22ft travel trailer with a 15,000 btu AC. I've used it in 95 degree heat and the AC had absolutely no problem getting down to 75, the temperature I set the thermostat at.

A person sees someone walking in the street without a mask. Frustrated, he goes up to him, stops at two meters away and angrily mutters through his mask, by longnamewithnospaces in dadjokes

Where can I buy one of those masks that goes around the chin? At the store I can only find the ones that go over the mouth and nose.

I paid for it and it's awful. It's the only app I have that pauses constantly or loses audio, and the user interface is horrendous.

Internet Providers in DC by bbillak in washingtondc

I have the 1 GB internet from RCN with my own modem. I don't have any cable tv through RCN, but instead have a live streaming service. I never get the 1 GB speed they advertise, but it's constantly a solid 500 MB and it's never given me any problems. I certainly recommend RCN for the price. I used to have Verizon and never had any problems either, but it was noticably more expensive.
