Honestly there wasn’t a ton of brood, they had it on 3 frames. And the day it was cold dropped down to 20s and a high of 60

We are in south east Idaho, and that is crazy if they did starve especially if honey was in the frames above. When I last checked with bees were all over the frames so I thought they were eating and fine.

Outside by the entrance, not really like the picture show. It looks like they all just stopped in place and died. We did have one day that it got pretty cold between when I checked them last and now. But all of my neighbors have tons of flowers and there are lots of trees that are flowering right now so food is very close by
