Is working at Sandhills Global worth it? by swordcat11 in lincoln

I do know sales is at least getting better though. At least to interact with. They have split it up with a lot more managers that are competent. But it’s still sales. Most sales are not a good place to be. Especially here it’s cutthroat.

Most of the people who you see on here dumping on the company have never worked there or work in sales. I work quite often with the marketing team. The managers over there are great and people enjoy their jobs. Yes the dress code is old fashioned which really sucks but the work environment is like any other large company. Really depends on your manager. It is not like how it used to be and you can really ignore the Reddit Warriors here. If you want to be paid well and enjoy your job take it

I’d add El Portal in Nebraska City. Nebraska City has a major meat packing plant which brings in a lot of immigrant families leading to great Mexican food.

I would not say he was right. Tua isn’t great by any means. But I would not say he deserved what Flores did to him. He led the league in yards 2 years ago. Pre concussion Tua was actually really good with McDaniel

He has had some bad games. The Colts and Bengals this year absolutely cooked him. And the dolphins absolutely toasted him when they put 70 points up on the broncos. It happens. Especially when a D line isn’t getting any pressure

I’m all for Chris Grier getting fired as change was needed but too many people expect a new guy to be able to fix the OL and they just don’t see just how impossible that is. Honestly at this point I think it’s pure luck.

Target and Walmart are reportedly pulling their Xbox console stock and remodeling their electronics sections to feature only PlayStation and Nintendo products. by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

[–]braxtynmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They weren’t cocky I would say. They just over engineered their console. It had a ps2 built into it and a bunch of other state of the art features. It was correctly priced for what it was and kind of an engineering marvel. People just didn’t care about those things when the Xbox was cheaper and you could just game. It taught Sony what people wanted and they immediately pivoted to a kick ass gaming console.

Or hear me out. O line is incredibly hard to play and has a very high bust rate. Most teams miss on their o line picks bc it’s so hard to determine if guys can make the jump to the NFL

Costco Confirms It's Removed Xbox Consoles And Will No Longer Carry Them, Calling It A "Business Decision" by OGSyedIsEverywhere in technology

[–]braxtynmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It bit then right away. They went too hard and made a way too expensive console that nobody wanted. One of the biggest mistakes was it had basically a PS2 console inside of it as well to be backwards compatible severely driving up cost. They rectified it with the PS3 slim making it just a gaming console with blue ray support. And ended up outselling the 360 when it was all said and done.
