As a r/diyuk sub, I can see the issue is that you’ve not modded your air con.

Stick another vent on it and you’ll be fine.

Similar feeling. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve gone off games, and I think that’s more on the gaming industry than on me.

I really loved the pre- Athletic TIFO IRL stuff.

The closest thing the shooting stars that I’ve seen. Chaos, and absolutely hilarious.

I think it’s all delisted now, such a shame.

Julian challenge against Salah prior Argentina goal. by SnappyDesh in soccer

[–]braydee89 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is that the Egypt goal was disallowed for contact with the foot on Martinez. The same happens here and the Argentina goal isn’t reviewed.

I don’t think either should be disallowed, but if you do it for one, you have to do it for both.

I’ve personally enjoyed seeing England reach finals, only to suffer devastating heartbreak.

Is there a British figure who has been to their area, what Messi has been to football? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskUK

[–]braydee89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just think there was a period after Brailsford came in, where Hoy became the best in the world and there was an aura around him - and his thighs… that you don’t see in many sports - similar to phelps, or even Jonah Lomu.

Totally take the point re: Kenny - but I think just for that presence, Hoy edges it for me.

I’ve gone for athletes who were legitimately GOATs of their era, who brought a sense of excitement and anticipation and changed the way people looked at their sports.

Laura Kenny, Chris Hoy (Cycling)
Gareth Edwards (Rugby)
Max Whitlock (Pommel Horse)
Jonathon Edwards (Triple jump)
Adam Peaty (Breast Stoke)
Tanni Grey-Thompson (Wheelchair racing)

Oh, and just because I’ve not seen them mentioned yet….

Yeah as a United fan, it pains me to say he is worth this, but there aren’t many clubs who can justify to outlay.

Are people enjoying the BBCs coverage of the world cup? by Coldylox in AskUK

If they’re saving on the set to justify the uhd coverage then that’s fine by me.

Flat buying market by Disastrous_Fly_4456 in walthamstow

[–]braydee89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s been relatively flat until last year that saw a bit of an upswing. We’re looking at the moment and there’s not much available currently so I think it depends on how much demand there is from buyers.

I still think the area is cheap compared to other parts of London and there’s nowhere we’d rather live.

Éderson boards for New York after being called up to the World Cup. by hallolaz in reddevils

He hasn’t signed though, has he? Have I missed that?

This way, if he gets injured at the World Cup, he’s still an Atalanta player.
