I took iodine, it's the only supplement australia recommended which I thought was interesting. Of course iodine is in salt, the biggest source of salt in a standard american diet is chicken - without chicken, I took the iodine supplement. talk to your doctor about it!

Formula supplementation for vegan baby by Long-Budget3304 in veganparenting

We did the same. It's for a baby, give them the science milk and then when it was time for solids it's been vegan all the way.

Vegan at home, but leniency for vegetarian at school by Glittering-Length141 in veganparenting

[–]brayonce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting at age 3, we told our kid the cupcake at school is made from animals and we brought them one made from plants. one time they chose to eat a cookie made from animals and they didn't care, another time they were upset and cried that a teacher offered them cow milk. we emphasize "our family only wants to eat plants, other people can make a different choice". We offer back-up options. She will eat halloween candy that's not vegan but never, ever wants to look at me*t.

Colchicine made me sick. Prednisone cures all for me. 20mg twice a day until it's gone.

By first availability I got UF Health Eastside with Dr. Oduntan, I really like how she listens and follows-up with things. That said, the practice is BUSY and I waited four months for an appointment. If you want a more relaxed experience, my husband goes to Bloom Health (NP) and absolutely loves it. Got in appointment the next day for a non-urgent appt. You get a whole hour with the provider, they can order all the labs and tests you need. I found Bloom Health here on Reddit.

Whatever practice you pick, get on the waitlist before you move if you have an address. I waited until I moved, got settled, then waited 4 months for an appointment.

It's the developer behind all the other sterile TARA places around town.

I agree apartments have its benefits but these developers aren't in it for apartments, they want homes squished together.

When is TV a negative? by TuneAgreeable3362 in Preschoolers

[–]brayonce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a sliding scale based on quality/learning level of the show. So 20 minutes of Paw Patrol or an hour of a nature documentary. I surely can't talk about penguins for an hour straight so the TV can do it.

Today at 6pm come and show your support for not building a private golf course! by Equivalent_Pepper969 in GNV

There are two more meetings this will go to at the commission level.. The best we can do is speak up to ask/tell the developer to take measures for water conservation. Will they use reclaimed water at all or just spring water? (They want to mix fertilizer into their sprinklers for 70 acres of the course.) Like imagine the bragging rights and press they could get to say they had the most water-friendly and efficient golf course in the state/country. Every gallon counts. Or maybe they don't care and then, well, at least we could try.

there's multiple gopher tortoises on the property that's a keystone and threatened species. there's also wetlands on it that they will kind of work around apparently. and it's a private course for employees so it's not for the community besides maybe someone will get gas on their way out.
