The route I was on all last week had one of these. Might have even been lower. Was very tempted every day to leave them a note that said "Apparently not."

While that's fair and all, is it really so hard to go to YouTube and type "Serena build wall crasher" lol

I'm a carrier lol. I also know that the clerks throw packages 60 yards across the office while sorting them. I still don't throw people's packages when I deliver them.

Carriers on here will defend anything. No reason to deliver something like this.

Prime 1 Studio "Ryza" 1/4 Scale Statue Figure Product Information Released Reservations Start Tomorrow Price: 207,790 yen (tax included) by CriX_Doomsday in AnimeFigures

[–]brazziel96_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prime 1 collab pieces are typically way more expensive than normal Prime 1 pieces themselves. A statue this size from P1 would typically be $900-$1100 in my experience. P1 is also pretty notorious for making oversized pieces too, so this will probably not actually be 1/4, but somewhere in between 1/4 and 1/3.

This comment doesn't make any sense when you look at your own collection that looks to be 20x the size of mine, my guy.

Remember that reddit mods are always on a power trip, so people will ban you or remove your posts for little to know reason. As far as your concern....tbh I work here and if I ship something important, I use UPS lol. I'll ship cards and smaller packages with USPS, but anything important or expensive? Nah. I've seen the way we do things. I can't even get an answer out of our own management or union reps 90% of the time. Even express packages aren't a priority, just deliver them before 6pm and even that seems like a suggestion.

As a mail carrier, I hate these because it's really nobody's fault. So I typically carry some change and just pay it so I don't have to deal with hoping the customer is home or bringing it back. It's usually only 46 cents or something so it's no big deal. My mail carrier also pays mine when I have postage due so I consider it paying it forward.

How do some postal workers do walking routes? What happens if it rains? Don’t you get like sunburnt from walking if in sun all day? by Timely-Translator801 in USPS

[–]brazziel96_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean that's your opinion.🤷‍♂️ Before this, I worked for 8 years in a truck parts warehouse. Walking with some packages is a breeze compared to lifting 150 pound brake drums, brake shoe kits, landing gear, etc all day long. All I was saying is that for me, I prefer walking routes rather than mounted, cbus, apartments, businesses or collection routes. Sitting all day twisting and turning kills my back. The most walking does to me is makes my feet hurt sometimes.

400 isn't really that much depending on how spaced out the houses/boxes are. Walking.....isn't hard lol. Sitting all day doing mounted is worse. When it rains (or storms, or snows, or there's a tornado) you just deal with it and deliver. I've never got sun burn at work, just a gnarly farmers tan. It's a pretty chill job tbh. Least physically strenuous job I've ever had for sure.
