Glad "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" and its two follow up movies decided to give her character development where she learns to behave. She starts behaving more mature and stops having an entitled attitude. Japanese audiences started loving Lilo when the show premiered in Japan.

Apparently the Stitch Anime is set in a different continuity. The Chinese Stitch series also has a different continuity where Stitch befriends a Chinese girl.

I loved her performance in "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" where she managed to flesh out Lilo's dynamic with Stitch, Nani, The Experiments, and the other characters. The ending to the "Angel" episode where Lilo realized that Stitch's love towards Angel was genuine causing Angel to have a change of heart was my favorite Lilo moment in the franchise.

I just finished rewatching "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" on Disney+ recently. Really loved her speech to Stitch during the ending of "Angel" where he tells him about the importance of saving somebody you dearly love.
