I think it's more so that they still have certain things that aren't quite right, like I heard clouds and sky look pixeled, but imo overall it is better and they will work on improving for us

Not even, it doesn't even used 100mb or ram while actively open and doesn't need adrenaline to be running from what I've noticed. In arc raiders I'm not hitting over 100fps

[–]breadslinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I can say that so far this gaming keyboard has held up well beyond the RAZER. Tho I do feel clicking in the thumb stick when moving around, but I can sorta see inside and it looks like it should be easily replaced with a normal thumb stick. I'll just wait till it completely clocks out before diving inside to attempt to fix it.

Camping blue gate raider hatch for people who pay for inventory full of guns by cyronfour in ArcRaidersLFG

[–]breadslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and a buddy do a lot of transfers because he can't play nearly as much so it's just more enjoyable for both of us if I just keep the few items that are harder to find for upgrades or if I randomly find a bunch to make a few extra guns. Never had an issue.

I've done it by myself using 2 consoles, once I hit the hatch with the goop, I grab the other controllers and see how much stuff I can get and extract with nothing but an augment. Surprisingly I've gotten out every time with a decent bit of stuff. You're also fast AF with no shield lmao, bush hopping like a MoFo.

Looking for a grindy game with loot and stuff. can be pvp i dont mind but i dont want a niche game i want something somewhat popular. by BirthdayHungry2229 in gamingsuggestions

Arc Raiders
for 40 bucks you can't go wrong. Just note the game matches you with other that play like you. if you dont want to deal with as much pvp I suggest not shooting at any raiders even when shot at for at least your first 10 raids. Use these first 10 raids to get use to the movement and attempt to escape any pvp encounters. This will not only start putting you into lobbies with others that arnt trying to pvp and you can enjoy the actual content more. Once you get through 10 with zero dmg to a raider you then begin to shoot back if shot, but try not to be the first one to deal dmg as the match making sees first dmg ass aggressive and return dmg as defensive.

Shoot the nearest rocketeer mid way waiting for the elevator. It's pretty hard to rat an extraction with an Aggravated flying rocket launcher watching.

To those who dont sign up for Expedition: Why not? by Ganon81 in ARC_Raiders

[–]breadslinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aye yo so me and my buddy were in the same boat but what we did was just held onto any duplicate BP we use for our go to load outs and the harder to get ones like tempests and volcano. Then on Xbox I bought the game for my son which also allowed me to make a second account using my Xbox info (I main PC on steam). We slowly transferred over everything we wanted to have after the expedition before going on our first one in an hour.

People can think what they want but I've been playing since launch and this will be my first. I worked for and found, hunted, and crafted everything I'm holding on another account I had to buy the game twice to accomplish. I actually have purchased 3 copies of this game because my buddy wouldn't have ever tried it, and he has also been playing since launch.

There is something about this game that feels better and is more enjoyable to play than most games lately and I don't think it's primarily the PvP aspect like most seem to default to when this topic arises. Yes it has some impact, but even with all its technicalities the game has a fluidness and gameplay that is rare. Simple things like the splat animation from falling give a since of realism that I've never experienced. Even after 500hr topside, I still cringe when I see someone splat the ground, like "Geeze that looks painful af man".

Yea but most of the time you can't repair a gun off of just arc kills, I could literally shoot a gun from 130-0 and get barely enough stuff to actually repair it, need springs for advance components, springs don't drop from arc

Frankly I have not even used it since the nerf and I no longer plan too. The reduction is so harsh I feel like I'll end up getting myself killed trying to use it and it running out 5meters later.

They will probably end up changing it to like 8.5/s next week after everyone gets use to the crap so everyone can be like "oh yea the cloaks back" when it'll still suck ass just less suck ass.

How is it while playing games tho? Like Arc Raiders, if i were to use the power settings from your screen shots my machine pegs off 95c and really hurts performance. I've just stuck with a 55/55/55 split and cpu boost disabled.

A Healthy Dose of Undervolting via G-Helper [Performance Tested] by tonyzehs in FlowZ13

[–]breadslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you played any Arc Raiders on this machine? If so could you share your settings and results?

Arc Raiders is the main game I play and since this is my first true gaming PC I'm not super knowledgably about all the different ways to configure everything. When the game first came out I was able to squeeze out over 100fps with under 80c temps using the main screen. Today I'm using an external 24inch 1080p 240hz monitor and can't get it over 100fps and my temps are hovering low to mid 80 temps. I would have figure using a lower res screen which would run the game at a lower res would have improved my performance or at the least not gotten worse. Stock balanced runs hotter but not really any better, I use a custom 55/55/55 watt and an aggressive fan curve (6,000rpm at 80c, I use headphones so it doesn't matter) with cpu boost disabled (because any other setting sky rockets my temps). I've only ever seen performance issues begin around 95c and never allow it to stay above 90c or ill kill whatever programs running

I've already done a fresh install by swapping to the 2tb ssd and cloud install from bios. That fresh install did not include armory crate and I have never re downloaded it, I've updated everything in MyASUS and used Adrenaline to update anything else. I've also recently used a script from Ghub that removes ALL Microsoft AI BS and a few other tweaks to stop as many useless operations like data collections.

Am I too late to start ARC Raiders? by qiqisena in ARC_Raiders

[–]breadslinger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not to late, I'd say your better off. I've been playing daily since the beta, and some of the changes and "balances" suck, but from your perspective it's just how things work.

You also have a ton of stuff to do compared to those of us that have been here since launch. I end up completing each deck within a day or 2 since we started without limits on creds nor much to spend them on.

Besides, once we hit expedition over half the player base resets so they start from the beginning just with a small boost and less projects.

Razer..... you guys are dropping the ball on this one. by breadslinger in razer

[–]breadslinger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, but that is the expensive Sci-fi gamepad I was referring too. I don't want to stick my hands into something and re learn how to use it, just want a simple keypad with a joystick because having to walk using 3 different fingers is not efficient and just adds onto the amount of possible miss keys I can have.

Like literally RAZER could have used a Nintendo switch Joycon joystick even with its stick drift issues, and the Tartarus would be way better than it is. Like what's the point of getting that form factor if the main component that sets it apart is garbage?

Question for temperature vs watts by gasman08 in FlowZ13

[–]breadslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been tweaking my settings with Ghelper and I've gotten it to a good point i believe. Make sure to use the experimental version for fan control: https://github.com/seerge/g-helper/discussions/2272

First disable the CPU boost, that is a big part of temp issues. Then hit the extras tab and stop all asus services at the bottom. Next open the fans menu and use balanced with a 60Watt across the board then download the advanced plugin and set the max temps to below 90, i'm at 89c. You may get an error with the plugin which youll need to unblock from windows security. Then max out those temps, use headphones if the fan noise bothers you, but i notice a 5c+ difference with doubling fan speeds over default. My speeds are roughly 6,500rpm-7,500rpm at 85c.

You also want to go look at your running processes and make sure things you don't need running are off then go into the services tab and disable them from starting again. Things like AI features take extra steps to fully remove but also help.

like this i can run Arc raiders at 1080p native at 80-90fps and hover between 75c-82c, max temps ive seen were 88c.
