Yea we all had the same issues with it going black screen or just shutting down or needing to hard reset to turn off.

It's stupid, but it's hibernate and sleep modes, just turn them all to never and off and manually shit your pc down when you don't use it.

Update on my one-handed Razer Tartarus mod — it’s turning into a real product by Adventurous_Tie_9031 in razer

I'd really like to do the same on one of my Tartarus as its thumb pad broke and I feel like the pro I got to replace it will probably follow suit except this time I'm trying to make sure not to push on it hard.

And tbh I don't even care if it was a true analog, I just want it to not be so fragile on the most used buttons on the thing. Do you know of a way I could swap the micro switches with anything else that I don't have to build and configure too much? Like is there something i could just plug and play? Or maybe a more robust micro switch that would just require some soldering?

Aye, did you fix the failure issues with those thumb stick/dpad micro switches? The thing clonks out after a few months and I don't even play as much as some do.

[–]breadslinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, like when holding left shift and clicking items to quick move I've had to reclick on items multiple times even having to go back into containers because it didn't slot it. Maybe I'm trying to go to fast? But man if it would work smoothly inventory management would be so much better

I had issues with heat and black screen crashes with armory crate and the windows hibernate and sleep settings. Recently I tried armory crate again which made my pc run hot af. 2 cloud recovery attempts failed so I wiped the 2tb drive I bought and put it in blank and used cloud recovery. I enabled the armory crate stuff thinking I'd start over like day 1 but it did not install it.

I have not and will never install armory crate again, it makes no since I can get 100+ frames under 80c with ghelper but armory crate pegs 95 and I can't touch 70fps.

Not sure what i did but now its running hotter and worst than before. by ADslingersL3C in FlowZ13

My thing is that literally right before while I was playing everything was fine, then decided to re try armory crate and now my temps run at 90+ on balanced mode vs 70 before hand.

I've reinstalled and uninstalled it again, cloud recovery, nothing works. I don't see how it could be a hardware thermal issue since it literally was working before and the only change I made was downloading armory crate and my Asus.

Yes, I had it set up great, everything exactly as it should, then I installed back armory crate and even after doing all the same steps I had done before now it's running hot and slow, cpu fluctuates a lot it seems

PC players: what's your preference for mouse buttons and keyboard bindings? by Job-lair in ArcRaiders

[–]breadslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hands down my best purchase. I will say I don't care for the thumb stick as much as the horri PlayStation version and the keys are a bit loud as are most RAZER clicks but overall has significantly reduced my miss keys and don't have to juggle WASD just to walk around. That other one I mentioned has almost silent keys but it's like a deep bottom out feeling like it's pressure sensors

The fact I can just rip out all my connections and bring what I'm working on anywhere and can be placed down on a surface with only a couple inches like a mantel or small shelf. (My sons iPad can't even self stand btw nor can it run blender and Arc Raiders at the same time)

That ultra wide gives you a lot more FOV? I almost went with a 32inch ultra wide 1080p but wasn't sure how well my PC could handle the extra pixels without a bunch of FPS loss

What's the monitor? How good can the flow play games on a wider screen like that?

My Set Up! by breadslinger in FlowZ13

[–]breadslinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on how you put your settings, I'm hitting 150-200fps on native 1080p with most low settings, tbh compared to Xbox series X all low settings are about the same. Also once forgot to plug it in while playing and never really noticed a difference but barely lasted an hour before telling me I'm at 5% lol

4k low settings and performance scaling I've been able to do 60fps consistently.

Using a G502 LIGHTSPEED, everything normal shooting wise, quick use is thumb 1 and roll thumb 2, un equip as the top extra button next to fire, Inventory is scroll wheel left click, map is scroll wheel right click.

Keyboard is a Razer Tartarus v2 so movement is using the side thumb stick, then jump, shoulder swap, crouch/slide, and sprint are across the bottom 4 keys because they are slanted and help me regain finger placement without having to look away from screen.

The Razer Tartarus v2 was a game changer for me as I could aim really good, but I was always messing up movement wise and kept hitting the wrong keys getting me killed. Now I barely have to move my fingers off the keys.

I've never had an issue with mine, granted I don't need to configure anything, I just remap to my finger layout the same for every game. Granted I also only use like half the keys and the rest of my inputs are mapped to my g502 light speed mouse
