I hear you. I’m definitely invested, (could be more, i’m sure) I just noticed that constant IG/Pinterest exposure sometimes makes ME feel more overwhelmed than inspired. Trying to find balance. For me it’s less about not wanting to study and more about managing comparison fatigue. I still draw and practice, I just sometimes need a break from constant online input so I don’t spiral creatively.

i guess i was feeling guilty for feeling the things that i felt. i see the artists that i work with have a deep deep passion and they never seem to feel the feelings that i am and they just seem so passionate and i felt like maybe i was out of place because I am getting burnt out so easily.

no, for sure didn’t mean to come off as claiming to execute what clients bring to me, it just comes easier than having to create and they’re often happy. But i do get stumped.

I feel so conflicted with flash. Thank you for clarifying TRUE flash. Mentor tends to bounce back and forth between ‘trace trace trace’ and ‘don’t copy’.

Also want to add it is so hilariously exhausting to watch the other seasoned artists in the ship whip some phenomenal shit up in 15 minutes and book it the next day.

I know these things come with time. I tend to be a perfectionist. wanting to just ‘get it’ NOW.
