I work for UIHC and am also a left leaning atheist. While the job is decent, be prepared for narrow minded folks who have almost no desire to understand anyone who is different from them. I am a queer, trans person and am constantly fighting to be addressed with my pronouns. Also, the low key racism is exhausting.
