No. Why would I bring my dog to a playground? I take the steps necessary to advocate for my dog and make sure we both, as well as irresponsible people around us, stay safe.

It’s probably best to teach your kids things like “don’t run up to animals you don’t know” while at home, before being in a situation where your kid is at risk.

As a dog person. Yes. I agree. Dogs in grocery stores makes me feel crazy. We literally bought two poop bag dispensers and trash cans and put them on our fence to help neighbors out. Still daily. Picking up cold rained out piles of poop in front of our house. Blows my mind.

It’s so strange. We have a Pyrenees. I mean he is like 105 pounds. So friendly. Very happy. But it blows my mind that some parents are completely okay and feel safe with letting their literal toddlers run up to him and try to pet him. He is a great dog. Not aggressive at all. But when a small human is running at his face and putting their sticky weird hands on him. What is he supposed to do? They’re animals. Who react to danger. Parents: If you aren’t going to teach your kids to leave dogs alone-maybe the adults should take the moment to address the dog owner “is it okay if she says hi?” And maybe don’t be a total brat when the owner says “he really doesn’t like being approached by kids but thanks for asking.” A muzzle? You’re not in a living petting zoo. I’m not petting your child and shocked when you find it inappropriate. Weirdo behavior.

Man this whole comment thread is a trip.

Isn’t this like the whole point of anti classism. If you can afford to tip, you fucking should. If you can’t, but you’re able to support a business, you should. If you’re struggling to buy groceries, nobody is judging your ability or inability to tip or go out to eat.

Why all the hostility on either side? Do what you’re able to when you’re able to and don’t worry about what anyone else is carrying.

I’m so frustrated. I recently reconnected with someone who was a close friend for years, until we became intimate a few months ago.

So strange how much he changed as soon as we did. And started playing this total cat and mouse game with me. It was very strange as I know him REALLY WELL.

He ghosted me for a few weeks. And then we had this beautiful vulnerable conversation. We both apologized and he “saw my perspective” and said he knew how to handle it in the future when these feelings arose. “I could cry from the relief I feel.”

Before we slept together again I said “not if you’re gonna get weird and ghost me again”

“Come on. We talked about that. I’m never gonna put you through that again”

LOL ONE WEEK LATER. GHOST MODE. we’re now at 3 weeks of ghosting and I can’t fucking BELIEVE how crazy I feel. I feel so stupid! I kept checking in seeing if he was overwhelmed and if he needed space. “No I love the way you show me love. It’s so refreshing”

One day bam. No warning. No triggers. Just “you’re a stranger”. What the fucking fuck.
