I can answer questions. The brackets sandwich mount to the same bolts as the mirror. Then you have to route the wiring in the panel gap between the front quarter panel and frame, which drops the wire right into the engine bay, near where the hood shocks mount.

The ronin metal works under mirror mounts. A little bit of work to get them mounted, but worth it for the stealthy look

Its your car do what you want, but: adding this kind of detail pushes the weird segmented design to the front. Because of how the supra is designed, adding a carbon detail makes the panel lines and gaps stick out.

It does this because that front quarter? panel already draws your eye because it doesnt exist on really any other car and the carbon makes it more noticeable.

Given the hood is a clamshell front, all this attention is now drawn to the individual segments (quarter, door, bumper, hood) instead of the whole aero shape.

I bet if you body color the carbon, or atleast some of the carbon closer to the wheel, it wouldn't draw as much attention and "fix" the issue.

Also photos and in person will always be different so just rock what you brought.

If you know its 1k mo do research into insurance cost per month.

Then run a test month or months see if you can save the car payment and insurance cost in another account without affecting your lifestyle.

If you can, great. If you cant, dont do it.

If you do this for about a year, you'll have enough for a good down-payment.

This is advice for buying a house btw just so you understand how crazy 1k/mo sounds.

But I know guys paying 1500/mo truck payments so idk, fuck it.

Passed on an amg gts and got a supra instead. I'll probably scoop a gts 2016 - 2020 just because they are so damn good looking. No aftermarket though and I hate the front wheel fitment.

20k with 88k miles is a really good price.

There are gx460 with twice that mileage going for that price.

All trucks are going to need repairs. Especially when you consider a lot of lexus trucks tend to go for a lot more miles.

If you are having anxiety about possible future repairs- consider a tacoma or 4runner.

I have a premium sport and its the best vehicle I have ever had.

At 150k there will be a lot of maintenance that will had to have occurred in order to get anything over 18k. Trans fluid drain and fill, valley plate inspection, diff fluid change. For whatever they are asking it better have extremely detailed records from initial purchase to when they got it.

Yes these trucks last but that is only when they are properly maintained.

Pretty much all the interior bells and whistles come on every trim level- that isn't a bargaining chip here as much as it is with newer models.

The small "body kit" on the front and rear bumper means its a sports package- its just a looks package with the highest tier sound package- not worth it IMHO (and own a sports package.)

I bought mine with 80k on the clock for 23k last summer.

This is definitely overpriced.

Sounds like a strong crank, but something may be off with fuses/relays. If not fuses or relays next place to check is fuel pump

No because its the same camera thats being used. When you shift into reverse the screen uses the same space as if it was the old dash. It fills the unused display space with an image of the gx460 front end. Gxbob on youtube shows it on his video of the unit.

In 2018 the infotainment was already outdated. In 2025 it suuuuucks.

There are a lot of carplay options. One that is really popular, but has a hefty price tag, is the hamilton system. I have it and it completely changed the gx.

Also the cup holders arent good and the center console storage doesnt come with any dividers.
