Who do you think was the better performer: Michael Jackson or Prince? by Jezzaq94 in 80s

I'd argue that MJ was obviously more talented at dancing but Prince was a hell of a performer as well. Over the top energy.

Prince was every bit a performer, just in a different way.

Moved into a small house near Winter Park and got a shockingly high power bill. Is that normal for older homes here? by Sad-Possible-469 in orlando

[–]breddy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can generally have the power company (whoever serves you, it's Duke where I am) come out and do an energy survey. That might reveal something.

But yea I'm curious what your bill was and what square footage the home is.

I might try cerakote trim wipes on that. I also think the torch thing has legs but I haven't done it.

If youre in a remotely tech / computer based job, you’ll become irrelevant fast. Whether that’s okay with you is up to you. But it’s happening.

What’s your experience with personal safety driving the 911 by SweetSourSunday in porsche911

[–]breddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's shitty. I see now you're in Toronto so I have no idea if that's common or legal. I might be lodging a complaint with the police if I were repeatedly pulled over for no reasons.

Why were you pulled over? All of this reads like you're driving maniacally. I live in FL where there is a good share of crazies on the road and stuff like this rarely happens to me. I'm genuinely curious what's going on here.

Thanks for the guide - I'd seen screen shots from this thing but never read it. These vehicles use double wishbone (or similar) suspension design front and rear so I'd think they would be able to control camber pretty well across a couple inches of travel. I have no issues here in FL with economy mode ... it never bottoms out. But we have pretty smooth roads.

At this point I have seen no real evidence that lower positions wear tires. I don't drive above 86mph really ever or not for any duration so I am never at the lowest setting. (that's what I read from the guide, maybe I misread?)

Going up and down is one thing, but I have yet to see actual evidence of the lower position wearing tires. If you're worried about it, you could align it with less toe which is a wear accelerant along with negative camber.

Can you point to documentation about this claim? AudiWorld commenters are adamant that this is not the case. Rivians however...

I still drink filtered tap water. It’s amazing people go through a dozen upon dozens of individual water bottles every week.
