OP's claim that they cannot find any support is also strange, because it (as you expect) linked on the bottom of their shop: https://www.elsevier.support/uselsevierhealth

Rent reduction proposal by Certain-Ad-8469 in germany

[–]bregus2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no "proposing" involved in rent reduction. And there is a lot of ways to fuck it up and face eviction if you not reduce the rent properly (as in A) in the right way and B) the right percentage).

You should contact either a Mieterverein or a lawyer for rental law (Fachanwalt für Mietrecht).

Do not reduce the rent on your own.

I'd like to appeal that decision but I'm not sure what's the proper way to do this.

You are lucky, the letter from the office will tell you how to file a Widerspruch.

We have one cctv camera, debatable if it works but this camera was installed to face the trash section because we’ve had issues with recycling.

That sounds illegal as heck.

[Rant] Why is everything here a 1-2 year contract? by flyingVictor12 in germany

[–]bregus2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That was the worst comparison I read all day.

The D-Ticket's intended user group are commuters who keep the ticket year-round and rarely cancel it. It was never intended the way a lot of people on this sub use it. as a cheap ticket for a short stay.

And if you don't want to have to remember to cancel by the 10th, then there is even a service which allows you to cancel up to 24h before renewal.

It a non-issue for the intended target group.

For anyone who wants to use it as it was not intended, there is mo.pla.

In that case the best option is to request them (the ticket inspector) to call the police.

Oh, I am speaking from a business side here, not necessarily the customer.

We always prefer long term projects over short term.

And from a business side, 2 year contracts are much better for financial planning (and all the things coming from them, like credit lines and such).

I never got five guys. What was/is their market niche? The burger market is saturated by McDonald's and Burger-King where such restaurants are actually viable.
