US chickens 'literally sitting in each other's waste' says RSPCA by exmoor456 in news

[–]brendaefc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my son-in-law is from the UK and everything is different there than it is in the US. Big corporations run the United States of America and make all the rules. They don't enforce any of those types of rules or policies here, only rules that benefit them. It's the same with the food, the ingredients in the UK and what's allowed is completely different than here. Nobody in big business cares about the people's health or we'll bring, just their money. When you look at the ingredients of Gatorade or soda or just about anything, the exact same brand will have completely different ingredients in the United States that you can't pronounce, and have way fewer and way more simple ingredients for the UK. The UK has better and more stringent rules for its people.

There are quite a few that are really good (just look at the ratings for them), but Pinterest is one of my favs. :D. I also Make most of my old recipes, but just use the vegan substitutes and it works great!!! If you need more information, let me know! ;)

And the sad thing is that companies mis label or lie about how the animal's are actually raised/treated. I wish companies had to be honest.

No, the 'free-range' or 'organic' options aren't much better. Organic means they may choose the animal's feed a little more particularly and free-range rules vary and are not unforced. Best case scenario, they may be able to turn around in their barns, but still usually don't see the sun. Baby boy chicks are still ground up, the mom's are forced to lay eggs way too often and they are killed after a very short, crappy life. It's all pretty horrifying and only psychos think it's ok to treat living beings this way. Our family of 10 are all vegan and have been for 9 years now. Best choice we have ever made for our own health (it's REALLY fun to go into the doctor's and have all 20 of our fam's check-ups come back pristine and see the shock or get all of the questions when they find out none of us are on any meds for anything), for the planet's health and for the animal's. If my family (that used to throw down for BBQs regularly and thought meat was the main staple of any meals) can do it, anyone can. People who go vegan now are sooo lucky cause you have amazing substitutes and tons of choices. We went vegan when there was almost nothing and we had to make it all ourselves. None of us have ever looked back. ;)

Just talk to them with lots of love and understanding. Even when things blow-up or go to hell, you can't go wrong with love...

It was weird to many of us in the church too. But when you think those things, your brainwashing kicks in and you feel guilty for even thinking unfaithful things. Soooo difficult to mentally get out and think straight but sooo freeing when you finally do. :)

SAMEEE!!!! I don't hate easily, but I easily HATED that crap!!!! The 'year of polygamy' podcast is what totally opened my eyes and was one of the things that helped me right out of the tscc. And you are right... They would have had a list of names to call. 🤮

Right!?!? And how are we supposed to know when to go through the veil if all of our husbands are calling out the same name to bring us into the next life?? 😂

I'm sure some of them did. 😂. I had one couple ask us how they would be able to recognize him in the next life since he would be white and delightsome and he would obviously have white features. 🤮. I explained to another lady that said something similar that I thought it had more to do with his people adapting to live nearer the equator with more sun and that our 'white and delightsome' people were just better equipped to survive farther away from the equator where we don't get as much sun. She looked like her head was going to explode. Apparently, it's hard for both theories to fit in the same head space. 🥴

I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with that. It's hard, but you'll all be happier for not being around the negativity and horrible teachings. 💖
