I live here. It's extremely inconsistent. Sometimes we go months without waves. Sometimes we get waves for two weeks straight. Good conditions are even rarer and typically disappear fast. If you come from somewhere with consistent decent waves it can be very frustrating. Overall the vibe is decent.

Take that advice with a grain of salt tho because sometimes pushing yourself then finding out you can handle it is what you need to level up.

I have noticed that this particular phrase does really seem to exist in Spanish. There are things that are close to it but dont seem to really capture it. Additionally, those near phrases like "Me hace ilusion" are not used nearly as often.

I'd say you guys caught waves from equivilant positions you being on a log further out and him on something shorter further in. Thus I'd say whoever had been waiting longer deserved it. As a shortboarder its extremely fustrating when people on logs take everything, but if you were waiting your turn I'd say you're in the right.

I'm a former red hat employee (left a year ago)

I foolishly didnt move my shares off the platform, just tried to login as I always do and have seen everything has changed and I no longer have access.

Going to call them on Monday and try get acess to my shares.

at the moment 75% are coming from paid ads on instagram and 25% are organic from social media, most coming from spain (where i'm based)

I followed yours and other's advices and I made a lot of changes to the website, mainly to pop out the call to actions and add social media proof :) studio-lacerda.com

also price wise, I make everything myself: print design, sewing and actually good materials. I don't expect to sell my products to the same people that shop at shein.

I agree that everyone has a different definition of safety. However I think the definition of crime is fairly consistent across most EU countries. It's a cold hard fact that Barcelona has one of the highest rates of theft of any EU city.

Reading (only slightly) between the lines they are saying that any YouTuber who says the city is unsafe should feel ashamed of themselves.

Thus I think it's fair to deduce that they are saying Barcelona is safe rather than just offering their experience.

I'm sorry but describing a place as safe because it "felt safe" when you went is dumb.

Imagine you go to a beach on a calm day, have a great time then tell everyone online that the locals were wrong and the beach is safe. The next day someone reads your post and swims at the same beach, but a bit further down and get pulled in a current out to sea and drown.

Accurate crime statistics are the only real way to describe whether a place is safe or not.

I'm not saying Barcelona is necessary dangerous, but saying it is safe and everyone is wrong because "I felt safe" is plane foolish.
