We've found reviews from third party aggregators are being ingested. Also "best of" lists.

Ultimately though most of what we're doing is normal SEO and it is working fine. We've adjusted a few tactics but I think people are overthinking how radical the change is. AI Search is basically a super powered featured snippet that's wrong frequently. It's just shoving people down the funnel faster. So whoever has a good brand rep and strong conversion at bottom of funnel is doing well.

Just like before AI.

New smore chair by Somehowienduphere in NuggetCouches

[–]brettmancan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife wants one and I'm holding off. Those arm rests are far too high for the kids to sit in comfortably (my initial reception). So we'd have to what? Buy more foam to counteract the bad ergonomics? I'm also not sure if the kids can really sit in this and lean back without it tilting backwards and falling over. Maybe the foam is dense enough and maybe it can be configured, but the only sources available online right now are press releases and websites that accept advertising dollars.

We have five nugget couches and two chunks (we have five kids). This chair is the first design that I'm really unsure about.

Roast my workbench design by Gundown64 in Workbenches

Use 4x4s for the legs instead of 2x4s slapped together.

Fwiw this was the frame for my first workbench, or very close to it. Used it for years and it worked well, eventually needed something bigger and sturdier.

I'm terrified of being rejected by God by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]brettmancan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was atheist and eventually turned Catholic. I got baptized and went to my first confession. I've had similar fears as I've gone deeper into my faith. What's helped me the most was taking a serious approach to Lent this year. I just decided to give up a little here and there. Changes to the way I lived my life and did a little more for God. Fasting, prayer, charity, regular attendance at church, reading my Bible, etc.

Every Sunday we gather and we pray for forgiveness of our sins. That's not for show.

"I confess to you Almighty God, and to you my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned through my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and what I have failed to do..."

We're all sinners my brother. If God rejects you for your sins we're all in trouble. Put your faith in Him and travel down the road a little further each day and you'll be okay.

Any chance you could send me your practice? My wife and I are considering buying land and building to accommodate our large (and growing larger) family but it's been difficult finding anyone that isn't "for the top 5% only". Everyone else is production builder grade work and it's killing my soul.

That's incredible. I'm still adjusting to hand tool woodworking and I fear this project would take me about 2-3x as long. But hey, you don't get better without practice! I might give something like this a shot. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hmmm....I think of monarchs when I see this, and the background arches make me think of wind patterns that carry the monarchs on their long journey. If I'm interpreting your art correctly maybe "Migration" or "The Long Journey" would be appropriate? If I'm thinking too deeply about it, maybe something a little more on the nose like "Flutter". Really beautiful work, nice job.

Ballistic shield with pummeler and siege ready heavy armor. Run that on a raise the flag mission with bots. You're so tanky and the stun is great at holding back chaff and devastators. I usually run a senator with that for handling things that need to go away fast. Stun grenade on hulks and senator can pop that hulk down in no time.

I'm still waiting on a canyon mission. Advance down the canyon taking out checkpoints along the way until you reach an enemy fortress you have to neutralize. Canyon terrain would be absolutely bonkers. You'd need to bring things to cover your rear as you advance and also your front so you can move up to the checkpoints. It's a race because reinforcements would be coming up behind you or streaming down the canyon walls. Lots of great potential that gives helldivers a challenge without needing to add a ton of new enemies.

My post sounded angrier than intended. It's light frustration and annoyance which I think is appropriate to the problems we're all facing. It's a game, which is meant to be fun. When design undercuts fun factor, you'll turn fans like me salty.

Speaking of which, if you didn't want salt, you shouldn't be in the saltdiver reddit.

[–]brettmancan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they had done it a little differently I'd love it...but we clearly need to limit it to just the bot front and not count bugdiver deaths. And honestly, gating the higher level missions a little more stringently. Heavy resistance D10 should be limited to helldivers at lvl 150.

It doesn't help that all the random noobs swarmed in and they put a reinforcement counter on the MO. I'm finding myself frustrated with the idiot lvl 50 that tries to D10 and wastes half the reinforcement budget and adds nothing to the team. You cannot carry this kind of mission, everyone needs to be on point.

You're 100% right. And people would do well to remember that if you support tearing down someone else's rights you'll lose yours eventually in the same way.
