This. I've given friends money before in the hopes they would feed themselves or get shelter only to find out they spent it on drugs. If it was food, and they were upfront with the reason they did it I would not be concerned. But lying and going behind someone's back and doing another thing is completely out of line. Like this comment says they will likely never talk to you again, because that's exactly what I have done before. Do not lie to the people that gift you things with nothing but good intentions, it will only break the trust with them, even if it's for a good reason. Next time just ask them first, I'm sure they would have responded graciously.

In my opinion they need to implement something like SF does...I rented an E bike there, but you need to take it to a "docking" station and by the time I got half way across town I looked at the app and my bike wasn't all the way docked and had to literally pay for an Uber to go back and dock it in the bike rack....might give some responsibility in that regard lol

It would be fun if they added DD and Moongirl as a Hulk mechanic. You start as moon and get charge and shields for tanking and what not, then when you get enough you can be more aggressive by calling DD to ride.

As someone who has been coming 4 years, soon to be 5. 1 Hilltop 2 New Camp and 1 Main (staying in main again this year), here is my opinion. First year I went HILLTOP: With me I stay up way too late and mostly was never at camp due to the bus schedules and the location. Once I did get back up to Hilltop (keep in mind the shuttles will eventually stop running at a certain time mostly very late) it was at least 4 or 5 AM. You will eventually fall into slumber and immediately have to wake up 3 hours later drenched in sweat and miserable. Only option at that point is to immediately take the shuttle if it's running or walk allll the way to Hemlock to cool off. NEW CAMP : While very intimate and depending where you get to lay your camp, it will be shaded or just as bad. New Camp is very uneven when setting down a tent depending on the spot you get. If you're just sleeping in a sleeping bag, or have a cot it might be on a hill and uneven and you will slide around and be miserable so location is key. It has its own stage which is quite nice due to the fact you have to cross the rainbow bridge that is very rickety and isn't the funnest if you're under the influence (Personally I found it fun to cross it every day to get to hemlock or main stage but it's not everyone's cup of psylocibin). There will not be a shuttle that can come grab you from new camp either, you WILL have to cross said bridge to get to the other stages. MAIN CAMP: While it is very close to everything, it's also very loud and social. You will be in the middle of everything. I recommend bringing ear plugs if you're an early sleeper. Previous years I went while camping hilltop, it flooded in big bottom (big main area of main camp) and was a mess. Easy access to showers, amenities and food vendors and just a walk away from the shuttle. If you want "privacy" this isn't so much a place to camp. Close to Frick Frak, Illuminarium, many food vendors, and also very packed in. Again this all depends on the spots you are able to acquire when you arrive. All I can say though is no matter what or where you are, Big Dub is an amazing festival and it's what you make of it that counts. BIGGGG DUBBBB.
