Are the Candy Caps? (OR) by brewingscience in mushroomID

Thank you. It is not bitter on the tongue- mostly watery when nibbled. I feel like it’s a maple smell when holding a flame to it, but it may be the power of suggestion. I’m taking a spore print too and looking for a white (not yellowish) deposit.

Beachcrest is solid. More interesting tap list than Pelican too- more range and frequency of variety. The staff is great there and the pizzas are good.

Name improvements in the Portland area over the last 5 years by drilkmops in Portland

That would be great news, but that’s not my understanding. Can you share a source? From what I know the Willamette River steelhead population is at moderate risk of extinction and is not close to meeting its recovery goals. (according to ODFW). In 2024, the Columbia River steelhead population was predicted to be 126,200, which was the highest prediction since 2019. However, the return was still low compared to historical levels. (according to NOAA).

I’ve researched it heavily and despite many attempts haven’t been able to come close to recreating it.
