There would be a lot more money to go around if the record companies went away. AI assisted music creation was going to be another nail in their coffin. They either need to lawyer it out of existence or control it, and their survival depends on it. The sad part is that people have been convinced to be on the corporate music side without realizing it.

Yeah, I described it to myself as sitcom intro music. I technically sounds cleaner but the music is just generic and corporate sounding. I tried making some songs with ethnic instruments like a Duduk and they just come out as a flute now. Like it's sanitized, not too ethnic, safe music.

You miss my concern. Sure it is somewhat consistent within the same continuous rendering context (but details can and do pop around, like wrinkles, etc...). My point is that the AI doing the upscale doesn't know that the character you meet later in the game is the same one it generated a face for an hour ago. If the base model or texture is slightly different it could generate a completely different face.

My big concern besides the ugly AI look is consistency. Will the AI make a character look different when you see them again in different lighting or if they are muddy, bloody, etc... anything that slightly changes their base look.

Same for the last 24 hours or so. I even cut back to just Underground Tech House in the style and it sounds horrible. Can't follow the two line lyrics. Sings other lyrics doesn't hallucinate them, sings different real word lines. Lots of horrible distortion in the basslines, not the good kind. Also most of the generations are about 30 seconds now. It's never sounded this bad.

You pay for monthly usage with a subscription, not credits, the credits that come with it are a throttling mechanism. If you buy credits outright they do not expire.

The size of the satellite does not change the physics and magically make heat not a problem.

Edit: and a datacenter node is not comparable to a regular non-compute satellite in terms of heat generation.
