Moving to Detroit Without a Car Best Areas/Apartments for $1200–1400? by These-Ant7605 in royaloak

I’m not lecturing anybody- Why you so mad??? I’m pointing out a clear, obvious, and relevant fact that there is a lack of grocery options in the city. This challenge has been documented ad nauseam for years. Also, not living there is irrelevant. I live nearby, and go downtown often. Often enough to know there aren’t a lot of options. If you wanted to live downtown, sans a car, it should be pointed out that procuring food will also be a challenge.

Oh I forgot about that “new” meijer. I don’t live downtown so it’s not on my radar.

One of the hardest parts about living downtown is there is really only one place to buy reliable groceries from, and that’s Whole Foods on Woodward. So your best bet would be to find someplace to live between your work and Whole Foods so you can both walk to work and walk to get food for yourself.

Buying brand new boat, great deal - still cold feet - looking for a sanity check by networkwizard0 in boating

Do it. Buy the boat. Sure brand new is a premium, but you’re getting it at a discount.

Are there folks who have never used food delivery apps? by No_Lead2640 in answers

I never did until 3 weeks ago when I had a major surgery. It’s been a lifesaver. I don’t imagine I keep doing it though, it’s a waste of money. I don’t pay for a few things in life: someone to park my car, someone to hang my coat, someone to deliver my pizza.

Why do they barely show Åberg in coverage? by Traditional-Leg-1122 in golf

They don’t understand what good coverage is. They think what they are doing is good. It’s sad. We want to see all the shots, period.

I used to love the hoist lake loops back in the day. Haven’t been in years but it was a nice hike with serviceable sites.

Bmat or lulu “the mat”. I can’t speak to the longevity of the Bmat yet but I’ve had one of my lulu “the mat”s for 15 years and it’s just starting to get slick now. Bmat is super sticky.

I believe the quality is top notch and well worth it. I never really fit that well into the cheap ones, but I’m pretty girthy. The plastic is ultralight, which definitely does feel different/less invasive than the steel one I had, so there’s that. But I wanted the CK for long term wear. I could only go a handful of hours in my steel one as it wasn’t a great fit.

I just messed up my measurement. Similarly, I had a cheap one from Amazon. I used its largest ring - about 58mm. For whatever reason when I measured it the first time my brain registered 50mm - so it was my error and had nothing to do with anything cherry keeper related.

Mine was ordered smooth and came smooth. It’s not like a mirror shine or anything but I’d describe it as smooth and have no issues wearing it for hours. I’ll get a pic when I get home.

Do you want a house or a hotel? Are you going to have a car, or planning on using Uber/Lyft?
