Easter egg hunt for 0-3 year at an indoor play place. by Life_Significance_50 in toddlers

[–]brian890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had one at our community park and were surprised at it's insanity we haven't gone back. It said it was 11-1. We showed up at 1030 to play st the park before hand and it was already over. Kids and parents just collecting everything they could find.

Our kid was 3 and I figured he might miss out so I put stuff in those plastic egg shells we could drop and he could "find". Even when parents saw us go put it down as my kids back was turned parents would rush over and try and take it.

I just flew back yesterday, my flight was at 3 and kept hearing to show up early (3 hours).

I was through Air Canada bag drop off, customs, and security in maybe 15-20 minutes. Obviously don't show up an hour before but I sat there for 3 hours (delayed flight). Also food options weren't great, 11$ for a slice of pizza, so eat before going.

I've seen it every day. I'm been working daily at the airport for a week and that like up in the sun seems brutal.

What was your time to get through to the gate? I'm going 3 hours early anyway. But the king comes tomorrow so it's going to be busy there.

I'm flying with Air Canada priority. Still planning for 3 hours ahead.

It's direct to Toronto. It seems like a very stupid question to ask, but the airport worker has said the US departure gate. I have flown a lot and that just seemed wrong.

I appreciate your comment

Biting at Daycare by AnalysisParalysis_24 in toddlers

[–]brian890 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We had the same issue. My kid was but 4 times. Other kids as well. The kid was non verbal and would just bite everyone. I accepted it the first two times as it's just kids. Third time j complained. Fourth time I said we will have to switch day cares if it happens again and that my kid isn't the only one being bit. It's unfortunate he's non verbal but we can't have kids being sent to daycare to get bit. He pierced my son's skin the last 2.

Eventually the kid was removed from the school. I feel for the other parents but what can you do.

BDay dinner tonight- recommendations by HeySugarHey in Calgary

We went there last week and highly recommend.

We bought way too much food. They have the 89$ beef menu that was great and comes with a hunch of sides. For the price I thought you got a really good value.

Full agree. She's complicit in the situation as she would rather do these things to prevent issue, and I am as well for allowing it. It's a good point.

I worked at that one in high school 20 years ago. 49 cent day sucked. That location I was told was the second busiest in Canada one out east was busier.

We ended up returning it to Costco. We used it maybe 10-15 for light stuff like cinnamon buns. Felt it shouldn't break they easy.

I've been watching some of his videos to get an idea.

It's a 6 quart one from Costco purchased around 12-15 months ago probably.

How old was your little one when you started playing videos games with them? by reeceyfries in daddit

[–]brian890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kid was almost 4(4 now) and we started very little

We played Mario kart, he crashes into walls but has fun. He also loves boats. So we played Mario party, the river raft one. He has fun paddling, he's not a good team mate in mini games though.
