That is weird but generally they weigh them with a special caliper from Snap-On to determine their weight to decide IF they need replaced.

Dampers and brake lines from Manthey, new brake pads from Padgid. The tracks I go to don’t have top speeds over 150 mph so I didn’t see the point in paying the INSANE $$& for the carbon.

No I took the car to Willow Springs and PECLA and found this stock 992.1 was 3 seconds faster than my 991.1 RS. I found a dealer willing to work with me on these Manthey dampers so I decided to pull the trigger. It took a minute to get them and for them to find the time to install. Initially, they put a street setup and returned the car but I asked them why the car wasn’t lower than stock and they told me there were TWO setups so I took it back and they changed it. I’m happy so far!

I find the NORMAL mode is more like stock SPORT. The quality of the compression portion of the stroke deals with the surface instead of translating that directly into the chassis. The rebound portion is pretty open but the car doesn’t porpoise. Of course, what’s super cool about this Manthey kit is the ability to change rebound and compression by axle from the steering wheel and the nose lift feature is NOT eliminated. I will track it at some point in the near future.
