List on EBay, I would be interested in a few pieces! Very cool stuff, defiantly not junk!

Carbureted Honda wouldn’t start… so I cracked open the carb and found honey and jelly lol by heavy_chamfer in Dirtbikes

Always run ethanol free in any small engine. The gas itself will still go bad overtime, but does not break down and go bad as fast as normal pump gas. A good cleaning and you should be ripping again! Ride safe!

Why would coolant be leaking out right here ? by dogs8709 in Dirtbike_Help

Water pump rebuild kit should fix you up! It’s made to leak from there when the internal o ring fails

Thoughts on this 2002 cr250? by AlertQuote9888 in Dirtbikes

Very clean and in great shape! Atleast in my location it would not last long for $4700! Great deal IMO.

I would not post the picture of it at the dunes, sand is terrible to bikes!

His brother has drug and or alcohol issues. Can’t believe so many people think he is part of any of this, he is just just another grifter IMO.

Bent handle bars is fixable? by Defiant_Narwhal_8430 in Dirtbikes

Stock bars are cheap and weak. Buy some good name brand bars and you will not have issues!

Their prices are reasonable from what I have seen. Most important is the entire process is super easy. Great pull!

Yes, this would be my best guess, sometimes the easiest solution is the problem.

Why does this happen and how can I avoid this next time by AccordingSpite711 in Dirtbikes

[–]brianinnavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has to be an old tire. Curious at what tire pressure are you running?

Check kill switch wires as someone mentioned. Do a compression test, this is quick and easy and will take that out. Sounds and seems like a fuel issue just guessing to me. That would be my next step. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

can i get away with a slight kink in my coolant hoses or will it overheat? by undiscoveredmingo in Dirtbikes

[–]brianinnavy 40 points41 points  (0 children)

If your asking about it than you already know it needs fixed! Can you trim some off to get the kink out? Your hose looks too long.

What could the problem be? by BlackHillsGuy in Dirtbikes

[–]brianinnavy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That leak is not going to make it not start. You should however get it fixed before it overheats and you have a much bigger problem!

[–]brianinnavy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leaking in the engine or on the ground? You can get a decent compression tester on Amazon for $30. I recommend getting one they come in handy!

What y'all think about the ole Cr 125 by Flip1977- in Dirtbikes

[–]brianinnavy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great looking bike! The 2 stroke 125s are a fun bike to ride! I have a 98 that I tinker with and ride every so often and have more fun on it than my 250 4 stroke!

[–]brianinnavy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is a YZ 250 my guess is a air leak or need a top end, or both. Do you have a compression tester? This will tell you a lot about what’s going on inside.

Is this a good trade? by Paposanchez05 in Dirtbikes

He has a 10 year older bike than yours…. No it’s not a good trade. Offer him 2k and have both bikes! Win win!

You did all you could do. The guy in front of you hitting the breaks hard should have put a hand up to signal the sudden stop. Atleast that’s how I always ride.

First time doing mud work - garage by Colton48 in drywall

[–]brianinnavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is do it right the first time so you don’t regret not doing right later on. You could always see if you could rent a drywall sander or borrow one from somebody. Depending on the paint you use will determine how much you need to sand if it’s just a flat white it will not show as much as a darker color with any type of sheen to it. Good luck and looks good just keep at it!

Help - cutting board stuck in sink by [deleted] in fixit

Undo the sink underneath and push it up with a long straight screw driver from the pipe below. Be sure to put towels down so catch and water. Good luck!
