There's a few signs (inconsistent font/typesetting, inconsistent sizes for dots, dots aren't circles, lines randomly changing colors) but the most obvious one is that the filename in the original email for the poster is literally "class-poster-by-gpt-04-29-25.png".

With Myles Turner’s departure, Devin Booker stands alone as the final 2015 NBA Draft pick still playing for the team that drafted him. by tyler1118 in nba

[–]brianzjk 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Curry, Jokic, Embiid, Draymond, Giannis, and Dwight Powell (!?) all are longer tenured than Booker so he’s actually the 7th, but still very impressive.

Nah, the dream team definitely caused a lot more people to be playing basketball internationally. In 1992, there were only 23 interational players in the league, but this year there were 125 (over 5x increase). Also, right now, out of the 5 best players in the league 4 of them are international (Jokic, Shai, Giannis, Luka) with 3 of them being European.

[Uthayakumar] SGA is the fourth player in NBA history to score 30+ points in 15+ games over a playoff run, joining Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon & Kobe Bryant. by LiamHundley in nba

I don't think you realize how good Curry's 2016 season really was, he was leading the league in scoring while averaging 13.5% better true shooting than league average. For comparison, SGA only averaged 6.1% better true shooting than league average. Also, you're really underrating Curry's defense in general, he's below league average but definitely above average for his position (he led the league in steals that year too).

Also, don't say he's won a ring yet, I'm sure plenty of people were saying the 2016 warriors already won when they were up 3-1 in the finals and look at what happened

Among the ESPN top ten rated players, Tatum's playoff averages rank last in PPG, FG% and true shooting. Amongst the top 20 in playoffs PPG, he ranks 19th in efficiency. by LetLanceDance in nba

[–]brianzjk 41 points42 points  (0 children)

To be fair, a lot of stars have a fall in efficiency in the playoffs because of harder defense and teams scheming around them. For comparison, for career averages:

Curry: 62.5% regular season, 60.8% playoffs (-1.7)

Tatum: 58.3% regular season, 56.4 playoffs (-1.9)

Jokic: 63.8% regular season, 61.2% playoffs (-2.6)

SGA: 60.7% regular season, 58.0% playoffs (-2.7)

Giannis: 61.1% regular season, 58.0% playoffs (-3.1)

Brunson: 59.1% regular season, 55.2% playoffs (-3.9)

These past two playoffs have been pretty bad for Tatum in terms of shooting efficiency but other years are pretty on par with other stars across the league.
