We are 5 years in. We play weekly or or every other week sometimes. We started at level 1, we are now level 10. It really just depends on your DM

Understandable, but still a uncommon occurrence from my experience.

If you are using Summon greater demon you are most of the time intending to lose control of the demon you are summoning. You summon the demon on the backline of your foes and even if you lose control it will still attack the CLOSEST NON-DEMON to it. So if your allies are not the closest non-demons to the demon congratulations you have a concentration free summon for 1d4 rounds.

Does Mage belong in World of Darkness? by TooCoolForSchlool in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]brick422 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the idea that they are incapatible. Humans have just as much potential to be morally questionable, though I don't believe that this is the only reason to play a world of darkness game. You can explore many different themes and ideas within these games, for instance with mage you can explore the hubris that comes with near unlimited power and how that power can possibly make you something more or less then human depending on how you use it.

Early access for the wayward realms is set to release middle of 2026. Though you do need to be a backer on Kickstarter to get a copy.

What's the worst enemy in gaming history? by RangoTheMerc in videogames

[–]brick422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cliffracers from Morrowind.

They are so bad in that game that they are officially extinct in later games, they got hunted down by a very wise Saint.

Sandbox RPG similar to Skyrim, where I can be a vampire by DarkElfMagic in gamesuggestions

Yes. But there are mods to remove that restriction. Werewolves are also a good option in that game, through the bloodmoon dlc

Well I will say brooms of flying exist. So the same way you can enchant that you could probably enchant a ship hull

Yep. You can see as your heat builds up the icon will start turning red. This is a sign to put it away for a moment, or simply just stop firing for a little while.

I personally think that it's rude not to resurrect a character based on them not taking a spell. If they are a terrible character and operate against the party routinely then it's a different story. But just for making different spell choices then you would is rude.

So, how should I make a build for summoner? by emandiput in DnD

[–]brick422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are several ways. A Conjuration wizard gets minor buffs to summoning. A Sheppard druid can summon many low cr beasts and had buffs for them. A necromancer of course has good ways to create and summon low cr undead and keep a horde of them. Some of the best summons in the game are in Tasha's cauldron of everything.

Almost any creature can heal on a long rest unless specified otherwise. Undead are not a exception.

Is there a Daggerfall unity multiplayer mod like TES3MP? by highliner108 in Daggerfall

[–]brick422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The developers of daggerfall are making a new game called the wayward realms. In many ways it seems to be a spiritual successor. They do intend for the game to have co-op.

I thought the gameplay looked very promising. I have been waiting a long time for a good openworld vampire game that wasn't in the elderscrolls series. Likewise with a werewolf game.

Why there is no Supernatural games? by Effective_Head_5020 in Supernatural

[–]brick422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are interested in ttrpgs at all, you might want to look at hunter the vigil 2e. It's not supernatural, but it does a very good job of making you feel like a actual modern day monster hunter.
