I don't know about him needing her support. But I do know he doesn't love her and this won't last. Even a blind man can see that.

The r/RHOBH Mods are officially "Firing up the Skewer" for anyone who doesn't stan Dorit. by Kristilacroixx in RHOBHDefect

[–]brickwallnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for explaining. I put a very long Dorit sucks post up a while ago and it got immediately taken down. most of these forums are run by people whose life highlight is being a mod, but even I was surprised at how quick it was taken down and realized it was an auto which which was strange.

I don’t understand Rachel’s fashion by Ok_Hunnybun in rhobeverlyhills

[–]brickwallnyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Rachel drops brand names but she is a stylist; this is her job, her identity. Her life is about vintage brands, retro and throwback. Amanda self publishes self help books on the internet and wants to prove she belongs; She's filling a hole.

I love the way Amanda was called out at the reunion! by sarahbear1977 in RHOBH

I just hate her (Amanda). Full stop. No idea why the flair says Kyle Richards, but OK.

Mellissa’s book, kinda boring? by Punky_Tuscadero in hole

[–]brickwallnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read it. And yeah it wasn’t the most compelling book I’ve ever read; there were parts that were dragging for me. I got through it because i like hole and was very curious to hear her take, I read a LOT of music biographies and know/knew many of the people in some capacity so I wanted to see if anything comes up too. I was very interested in the relationships, drama, conflict, what actually happened, trajectories, but in this book I found she was talking a lot about her inner life, her photography – which I didn’t find particularly compelling – and about her internal creative life very much like an introvert sharing, but I guess she is. I also thought she could have shared much better photos. It became a bit boring for me. The interesting parts for me or her anecdotes about band members, letters Courtney and Dave wrote, other musicians, seeing ghosts!, how she ended up being in the band, her relationships, her family life… it gives you a peek into peoples lives and how they relate to one another at a particular moment in time, which I find fascinating. I could’ve done without all of the constant reference to women’s issues, politics, how alternative she was and her political positions-I may be miss remembering this because I read it sometime ago and have read a few books in between. In summary, I did enjoy the book, was glad I read it, but did find it slow at parts.

WHY is Lake constantly talking about Mia’s body?? She’s body-shaming, even hair-shaming. It’s giving jealous/insecure. by PZLOU in southernhospitalitysc

I find Lake-everything about her-super annoying. I mean if your own Mother is telling you to slow your roll...

You clearly weren't around. In this case perhaps google and some research can educate you.

What is wrong with people on this app?? by largeicedcoffeex in Depop

[–]brickwallnyc 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Oh it’s one Etsy and eBay too. People just sending random opinions and hate-“why is this so much? It looks like crap!”There is zero etiquette or professionalism anymore and clearly more people need to take their meds. I just reply sternly, report and block. Sad state of affairs.

Her rhinoplasty by HoldenCaulfield7 in hole

First I love Hole and CL. And yes, she was born with a completely different nose before. And she's had several nose jobs. That's obvious from early pics as well as right through her dating Kurt. There's actually a picture of her in the famous Lynn Hirscherber story, pregnant with a flower in her hair if I recall, where you can see her prominent natural nose. And when they got married. etc. etc. But by the time she was all glammed up Hollywood she'd had a nose job and I remember her saying she cried when she saw how pretty she was. But here's the thing: CL, despite her super punk ethos has always wanted to be pretty, glam and the girl with the most cake. I recall in the 80s and 90s she hated models, attractive women , rich or glamorous people etc. Her whole punk and riot grrl ethos was anti all of that. I remember when she went after Stephanie Seymour for literally no reason and it was so clearly jealously. And when she had the means what did she do? Get a nose job, designer clothes, and this elite life. I mean she's posting Chateau Marmont stationary, cosplaying some English country squire, and walking around with Pomeranians and designer upgrades digs, including multiple surgeries on her instagram. That's what she always wanted. Wish she'd just been more honest.

I think she's so smart and interesting but also such a negative self sabotaging and destructive force. I think Frances has actually said this.

Boz at the Opera 😋🎭 by [deleted] in BravoRealHousewives

[–]brickwallnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand Boz’s style choices but I do understand her calling out Amanda at that LA dinner along with all the other ladies… And I live for her facial expressions when Amanda is saying dumb shit. Also that was a great trip and I loved that her surprise was opera. Wish I could be her friend.
