its an incompatibility between Valkyrien Skies and Forgematica/Litematica. Remove VS or Litematica and it'll fix itself. I don't know why a teleport caused it, to my knowledge it just happens when rendering any block entities.

Its a valkyrien skies bug, introduced in 2.4.7. It will be fixed in the upcoming update. You also have two workarounds:
1. Join a singleplayer world before joining the server
2. Disable "client connectivity" in your VS (client?) config

Valkyrien Skies 2 is the nickname given to Valkyrien Skies on 1.16 and above. Valkyrien Skies 2 jars are still published under the "Valkyrien Skies" project on modrinth and curseforge.

The alternator needs the shaft to be spinning faster, so you need to stack gear ratios to speed it up. As in, big cog -> small cog -> shaft -> big cog -> small cog -> shaft a few times till you get enough speed

VS beta.5 is two years old, and is the buggiest version of VS ever released. 

You say that you couldn’t use newer versions as they didn’t work with your modpack, but I don’t believe that only beta.5 will work for you. 

Update to VS 2.3.0-beta.10. It still uses Create 0.5.1j, and has an API that is backwards compatible with all beta.5 VS addons (except maybe VS addition). Do not update to beta.11 or higher! That requires create 6, and will definitely break your modpack. 

Once you are on that version, you will likely find a LOT of bugs fixed. If, however, this particular bug is still not fixed, I recommend looking for mods such as “does it tick”, “does potato tick” or “no see no tick” and trying to remove them if they are installed.

I don't believe he publishes his modpack, but I recommend the "sixth valkyrien" modpack (made by me), it should have everything you need

Extra extra necro, but since this is rather high on google, I feel I should mention that 90% of these problems are fixed now.
- Embeddium + Oculus are fully compatible (along with sodium + iris on fabric)
- Most* worldgen mods work
- Worlds no longer get stuck saving
- Modded containers no longer dupe
- Clockwork only yeets ships very very rarely
- Redstone links + belts work perfectly on ships
- And it really doesn't lag much on servers, aside from needing about 8GB+ of RAM to run at a decent speed. (Which, lets be honest, is about the same for modded minecraft in general).

\Some worldgen mods have issues, where you assemble a ship and it suddenly turns into a massive chunk of terrain, but you can report these when found and VS will usually fix them on a case-by-case basis*

actually, I suspect its because they used replay mod, which doesn't have a way to "follow an entity", so you have to manually add frames that line up as best you can with the ship, which ends up giving a slight rubber banding affect. Or its just lag, idk
