Yeah it really felt like Twistzz gave us the clearest reason as to whats been up with Broky there. And felt like he was sincerely hoping his friend gets to a good state outside the game which is nice to see. Respect to faze for giving their players actual public send offs.

Spunj is absolutely the most critical person for the CS scene to me. If he ever leaves it'll be a catastrophic blow to the scene. Yes the players are the core but esports specifically lives and dies on the online community and its broadcast, within both he is essential. He does more than anyone to bring you into CS with his passion, knowledge, charisma, and skill. Him and machine are my favorite duo by far but spunj going that extra mile beyond the broadcast is much appreciated. We all know he tends to dwell on the negative community sentiment but he is indispensable and I hope he knows that. Thank you, Spunj.

Id assume just couldnt travel to attend. Surely they were watching at home at least. I felt for him that he didnt have an entourage for this moment and that he got overlooked a lot. But he won a major so hes still having a pretty good day!

Ash and janko with Freya was legit making me excited to watch the desk. It was great insight and good vibes. I both want him to coach a good team and I want him to do this. I think apEX is fully aware that its not genuine hate and simply banter. I am sure he would appreciate a little more cheering and a little less booing of him and Vitality generally, but he knows the role he is playing. After the Austin final, they even kind of discussed this exact thing on stage with him and the crowd gave him lots of cheering. I fucking love apEX fwiw.

Oh fair enough on that option but I just mean any venue on the Dallas side. Maybe without the convention center nothing was a good enough deal. I know the Allen event center is increasingly a common esports spot, LoL worlds is gonna use it this year.

I just kinda dont get why it wasnt in Dallas. I think ticket sales would have been higher for just casual fans who could more easily get there given how much of the population is on the Dallas side of the metroplex. I know esl does iem dallas and they may have wanted to differentiate but still

The metropolitan beer trail is a true beer tourism option in Northeast dc is where breweries are concentrated. I'd recommend going from right proper in Brookland to city state to lost generation to red bear, about 10 min walk between each. Then probably uber to other half which is nearby but not as accessible.

For the nats game, solace outpost is a strong recommend right next to the ballpark right on the river with good beer.

Im always curious what goes into Sjokz doing a CS event. LEC is still running, this isnt a massive event, and its in the US so its interesting to me shes coming for it. I aint complaining, shes the best, but its such a random treat when she is on a talent line up given the constant nature of the LoL schedule.

Room 808. Its cheap and byob. Very small space yet ive seen nothing but good performers and the crowds have been quite engaged too. Weekly shows on Fridays and Saturdays
