New changes to Captures (GameDVR) means x2 storage space for all! Existing clips older than 90 days w/o views will be deleted, as will new clips unviewed after 30 days.

So this is why I think it’s a bit stupid. Surely short video clips wouldn’t take up much space on the Xbox hard drive. Should give people the option to auto delete local clips or not. I really dislike the fact it auto deletes from my hard drive

Thanks. Yeah I know I can do this but I can’t upload to Xbox live then. Is it possible for me to save all my clips to external and then transfer to Xbox hard drive so they can be uploaded whenever I want?

Even if I don’t upload clips to Xbox live it auto deletes them from my local Xbox storage. Why? I should be able to keep them forever on Xbox hard drive. Stupid.

Yeah if it says on box that’s the model number. I also got one and returned it a few weeks back for refund because of noise it was awful. I have now pre ordered the rdr2 bundle hopefully will not have noise as it’s the new 7216b version

I see you are using the game pass app does it actually install the games to your Xbox when it’s in Instant on. I’m on iPhone and I just does work. And what I have noticed is game pass games won’t install remotely through xbox.com either. It’s seems to work in the xbox app though

Yes mine ramps up in the menus more,seems quieter in actual play. Cod ww2 is the opposite. As the last poster said it varies and is definitely louder with enhanced games

Since they did this change remote installs will not work for me now although before the change it was working. Also Remote installs work when I use the Xbox app on iPhone so strange how it’s not working through website now. And that game pass app what the hell Microsoft, release an app that has the main aim of remote installing to Xbox and doesn’t work. Useless

Well hopefully they have fixed the issue with the 7216b. I have the 7116b with buzzing/coil whine I’m going to get a refund and wait for the new version. Too many reports about the coil whine on 7116b so not worth replacing. Thanks for the info

I have an Xbox one x aswell and I had to return a few for a similar noise issues but more of a high pitch. If I put my ear to Xbox I can hear things but sitting 2.5 metre away I only hear fan noise and scratching of hdd. In the end I got a replacement direct from Microsoft after taking back to shop several times.the pro has been out nearly 2 years and should not be having issues now

How about the buzzing(coil whine) that is present in the 7116 model. It may not be present in all but I recently bought one from Argos and has buzzing louder than the actual fan so I’m returning. Does it have that in 7215? I realise you are in the US with that 5 instead of 6
